Episode description

Steve Steinhauer was the face of Aflac at NASCAR for the first five years when the “duck” first entered stock car auto racing. He was known on the track by every driver as “Stevie Bobby”. Steve was accomplished in sales for forty years after leaving his first job as a welder. We worked together for twenty-five years as commissioned salesmen for Aflac, thicker than thieves and have more hard lessons and funny stories than a person should be allowed. Steve’s father, always positive, a great influence in our lives, had polio at an early age and became personal friends with Teddy Roosevelt in Warm Springs, Georgia. Fun followed us, and we learned “don’t take yourself so seriously and make everyone a friend. If it isn’t fun, find another job.” Hosted by Scotti Madison.
