13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
This might seem like an interesting verse for a month talking about Spiritual Warfare, but as we wrap up this sometimes uncomfortable, but powerful month, it’s important we realize one very important truth as we go in to battle – we have an incredible inheritance from God. And part of our inheritance? We have the POWER and the AUTHORITY to defeat the enemy. God will make us the head, not the tail.
So many times we’re tempted to play victim in the midst of spiritual warfare. Downtrodden, tired, defeated – never catching a break, never happy, always so hopeless.
But why?
