Dr Susan Partovi-Renegade M.D.

Meet Dr Susan Partovi, recognized internationally as a leader in homeless and street medicine.  She practices in the Skid Row district of Los Angeles, California which contains the highest concentration of homeless in the United States.

Dr Partovi is one of the founders of H.E.A.L (Health Care, Empowerment, Advocacy and Learning), a non-profit that brings supplies and medical students to clinics in Haiti.

Dr Partovi discusses with us her new book " Renegade M.D.-A Doctor's Stories From The Streets" and to make us and our communities begin to recognize the shared humanity of our most vulnerable.
