Episode description

In 1983, Thomas Haynesworth was accused and convicted of the rape of 4 women.  He had a solid alibi or so he thought.  His mother said he was at home, so not the best witness, right?  Sadly, he was charged and convicted of rape.  He served 27 years in prison for crimes he did not commit. Later on, a man named Leon Davis who not so coincidentally was recommended as a suspect by Haynesworth was later
found to be the rapist due to DNA.  Thankfully for a pack rat medical examiner.  Haynesworth was able to have his conviction overturned.
