Episode description

This week we did something bold. Reckless, even. We discussed AI. Not in a “here are the technical specifications” way — but in a “so… is this how humanity ends?” way.

From helpful chatbots and eerily accurate algorithms to the very real possibility of robots quietly plotting while we ask them to write grocery lists. We unpack our fears about artificial intelligence and where this is all heading. Are we witnessing innovation… or the origin story of our future overlords?

We spiral (naturally) about automation replacing jobs, deepfakes blurring reality, and whether what we ingest via these platforms is all just propaganda. Is AI just a tool? A revolution? A villain in its early development phase?

We don’t claim to be experts. We do, however, claim to have opinions, mild anxiety, and an unhealthy imagination.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you should be excited about AI or subtly preparing for the robot uprising — this one’s for you.
