Episode description

Title: "The Contemporary Context Of Antisemitism" Date: March 22, 2015 Speakers and Affiliations: Dr. Alan Dershowitz, Department of Law, Harvard University; Dr. Charles Small, Founder and Director, Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) Description: Professor Alan Dershowitz and Dr. Charles Small speak about the need for rigorous, academic, and replicable research on antisemitism. Professor Dershowitz expands on the fascistic and Islamic antisemitism throughout Europe and the demonization of Israel on campus and throughout the international arena. He asserts that the hard left has adopted Israel as its villain of today's day and age. The demonization of Israel and the assault on notions of Jewish peoplehood, he notes, has arguably become the most dangerous form of antisemitism in existence today.
