Episode description

We’re in a New York State of mind this week. The end of the legislative session brings with it no significant action on climate, power, or tenant protections. With a years-long super majority, the failure of Democrats in one of the most liberal states in the union to take bold action is alarming. They did, however, put a moratorium on granting new permits to fossil fuel burning cryptocurrency mines. Trucks are running into bridges left and right and it’s costing a fortune. And for our wildflower, Kingston is poised to become the first city north of NYC to adopt rent stabilization!
