What is Toxic Positivity? One definition commonly used is toxic positivity as the excessive and ineffective overgeneralization of a happy, optimistic state across all situations. The process of toxic positivity results in the denial, minimization, and invalidation of the authentic human emotional experience. It's an interesting topic we wanted to discuss because today there is a lot of success grifters, prosperity preachers, and other forms of ignoring reality for a false positive view.
