Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional science today right here, right now. Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams, Scientific director at Invite Health, and happy Saturday morning to all of you who are up, bright and early, ready to kick off the very special weekend for all of the dads and grandfather's out there. Tomorrow as Father's Day, So Happy Father's Day to all of you out there. Today is a very special

day in history. Today is when the Statue of Liberty actually arrived in New York Harbor, came in three hundred and fifty pieces packed in more than two hundred cases, So that's something very special. And another very special thing is today's my dad's birthday. So happy birthday, Dad. I will be visiting

with him later today and then of course tomorrow. It's interesting because you know, his birthday being June seventeenth, it always falls right around Father's Day, and my poor mom, her birthday is two days after Christmas, so it's kind of like we celebrate you know, Father's Day and my dad's birthday kind of conjoined, and then Christmas and my mom's birthday together. But nonetheless it's a special day and one to be celebrated, and so happy birthday Dad.

Now today, I do want to zero in on memory because this is an area that so many folks come to me and they have concerns about this, and rightfully so. Mind you, we all want to have good cognitive function as we grow older, and we know that there are many factors that can lead us down the path of kind of memory decline, not feeling as sharp

or focused. We know there's many things that drive this, diet being the primary one, but we also have to look at medications and that side effects to medications can certainly disrupt our cognitive ability, our cognitive function, so we always want to try and find that root cause. What's interesting is that oftentimes people don't really start to target issues when it comes to brain health, until they're already experiencing problems. You know, they're having problems forgetting things, they're

you know, having issues when it comes to focus and attention. So the best point that I'm going to make here is to be proactive, folks. You want to make sure that you start really zeroing in on brain health as soon as you can. Don't wait until you forget where you set down your car keys. And that's a common thing. And that's oftentimes not even so much about the issue with cognitive decline as it is so much with stress.

And when folks are highly stressed out, this really affects the ability of the brain to have good neuronal connections. So we want to take different nutrients that we know can help facilitate better cognition. And we know that there are a

lot of different conditions out there that can lead to declining memory. We can look at chronic disease states such as diabetes, and there is you know, kind of this whole wing of research when it comes to diabetes dementia, and we know that this is driven because of the excess sugar that glucose that travels

across the entire body and it creates that problem known as glycation. So not that we need to get into the weeds with the technical terms, but what glycation actually does is it disrupts the function of anything that it attaches to. So we don't want to have this excess sugar that creates a problem for our brain cells. So we have to always look at the management of any underlying

disease. We have to have better control over blood pressure. We need to do better when it comes to our diet because we know that the diet lacking in keynutrients certainly will affect our ability to have good brain health. And I often say, you know, as we grow older, you can kind of imagine this. You can imagine like two groups of folks and one group is you know, standing in a line and they're in the skinny brain line, and then you have another group of folks and they're in the fat brain line.

This is the one time in your life that you want to choose that that heavier side. You want to be in that fat, full brain line because we want to maintain our brain volume as we grow older. This is very important and this is why we talk so often on Invite Health Radio about diet and the Mediterranean diet. I know Jerry oftentimes talks about the Mind diet, which is kind of a modified Mediterranean diet. This is important because we

have to have those powerful antioxidants. We have to have those good healthy fats to be able to get into the brain to allow the brain to remain structurally full and sound. And so we always look at diet first, we look at these other factors. You know, are we on a medication such as a Staton drug. The biggest problematic Staton drug out there is a torvus statin

also goes by the brand name of Lippatour. So if you are listening and you are taking Lippatour or it's generic version which is known as a torvas statin, or you know, someone is Father's Day tomorrow, maybe your dad is taking a cholesterol lowering medication. Maybe this is the best gift that you can give to him. And maybe you were thinking about getting him, you know,

a golf club or something along that line. But maybe you'll listen to this show and say, you know what, I'm gonna ask dad tomorrow, Dad, what cholesterol medication are you on? Because if he tells you that he's on lipatour, or a touravas statin. You need to have a heavy talk with him. And it matters because that particular stat and drug actually strips the brain of much needed cholesterol. So it's interesting that as people are on lipatour or a tour of a statin, over the course of time, they'll

start to have this mild cognitive decline that's occurring. And when this happens, it's oftentimes kind of unbeknownst to them. They don't ever correlate it back to their medication. They don't ever say, oh, well, maybe I'm having some memory issues because I've been taking this cholesterol lowering medication. So because it's not like it happens overnight. This is why we always want to be aware

of these drugs and the side effects that go along with them. So if you know someone who's taking that particular statin drug, you want to talk to them and say, hey, next time you go to your doctor, hey better, yeah, call your doctor's office on Monday and say can we switch to a different statin drug. And oftentimes, I mean, we have to

be cut to the chase on this one. Many times people don't even need a stat and drug, but it's just kind of the the claim to fame when it comes to cholesterol management in this country, where we should really be zeroing in on dietary management. So so many aspects of human health really come down to the diet and so so that's my little piece of advice. My tip for the weekend is talk to anyone who's on a TOURVA stat and and

make sure that they switch. I remember years ago a gentleman came into the Invite Health store in Boca and he was complaining about memory and he says, I don't know what's going on. He says, but you know, over the course of the last six months, maybe one year, I just don't feel like I'm as mentally sharp, and I'm, you know, finding myself kind of struggling with just even remembering people's names. And he goes, I don't know, you know, if I'm not taking the right supplements or you

know, what should I do? So I sat down with them and I said, well, you know, let's kind of walk through a typical day for you. What do you eat every day? And you know, what's your activity level, like, you know, what's your stress level? Like I mean, because these are all factors that can lead into problems with focus, attention, and memory. And then I also said, are you on

any medications and he says yeah, So he lists off his medications. He had, you know, medication that he was on for diabetes, and then he was also on a tourva staton and so I sat back and I said, I think we know you know what's going on because his diabetes was actually quite well managed, his diet was really good. He was taking you know, his mainstay supplements each day. So I said, you know, this is coming down to your statin drug and he says, you know, that's

so interesting that you say that. He goes because I started that medication about two years ago. He goes, and it just seems like with every month, my memory has gotten worse. So nonetheless, he went back to his doctor. He's switched off of that drug. They put him on a different drug, and he was like, this is kind of amazing. It's almost like once he discontinued that medication, he felt like his memory was getting sharper once again and clear. So that's key. So we always want to be

proactive to the health of our brains. So we want to kind of play detective work. We don't want to be throwing spaghetti at the wall. We want to play to detective because that's going to allow you to make the best choices when it comes to dietary modifications. When it comes to stress management techniques and being mindful, that's very, very important. You know, if you are highly stressed out, good luck when it comes to memory and when it

comes to attention. I mean I can attest to this myself. I don't know how many times in the past where you know, I would be commuting home and just you know, you're sitting in traffic, you start to feel that stress, you feel that tension building up, and then I would say, oh, I have to go to the grocery store. And then you run into the grocery store and you're standing there in the middle of the store going what the heck did I come in here for? And it's not because

I was having a actual memory issue. It was stress. And so we always have to find ways to mitigate our stress every day. So whatever technique works for you, and maybe you don't have a technique right now, then I encourage you to speak with one of our nutritionists and work with them on different mindfulness techniques. I did my certification through the Center for Mind Body Medicine, and I learned so much about how as individual humans, we all kind

of gravitate to different ways of how we manage our stress. For some folks, you know, they want to be able to decompress via exercise. For other folks, unfortunately, maybe they turned to comfort foods and eating or you indulging in adult beverages. But we have to find the healthy way to be able to decompress. I find for myself music is my therapy. I love music, and so if I'm feeling a little, just a little stressed, I will, you know, just kind of kick back, turn on some

of my favorite songs. And it's amazing how quickly that can actually help me personally kind of just recalibrate everything and just have a more positive outlook. And so you have to find what works for you. You know, maybe it's meditation, maybe it's guided imagery, maybe it's doing yoga, maybe it's taking a walk in the park, whatever it may be, it's important to make that part of your daily routine because we want to be able to protect our

brain. We don't want to create access free radicals and oxidative stress and damage that can do harm to our brain. So we want to be able to enhance our brain function. And we know that many folks do have these concerns, and we want to be able to protect our working memory. We want to have good attention, we want to be able to have obviously good executive

function skills. These are all things that we can achieve through having this multimodal approach of stress reduction, getting adequate proper sleep seven to eight hours per night, and then of course taking different nutrients, and we have a whole wide

variety of formulations that really zero in on the health of your brain. So I'm going to talk about those products today and why they're so incredibly beneficial, the science behind them, how they're actually working to improve upon your memory, and you're focusing your attention and at the same time helping the body regulate its

stress response, and all of these things are very important. So I knowing to take a quick break, so when I get back, I'm going to zero in on the products that are definitely brain boosting and incredibly beneficial when it comes to the health of your brain. So stick around you are listening to Invite Health Radio. We will be right back and here's today's special. Buy two bottles of any of today's featured items and get forty percent off with free

four one seventeen and welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams here with you on this beautiful Saturday morning, supposed to get a little hot, sticky, and some thunderstorms down here in South Florida. Not that that's a surprise. Hence it's June, so this is much to be expected. But we've been under a heat advisory all week. It's been incredibly hot, you know, And I sit there and I think about all the folks that work outdoors, and you just, you know, you hope that people

stay hydrated because it is just darn hot. And it gets hot up there in New York too, so you know, you have to always be wise, make sure that you are staying hydrated. All of these things definitely matter. So let's talk about brain health, and let's talk about resveratrol. I think risveratrol is one of the most interesting supplements out there. Obviously, you know, when we first started learning about risveratrol so many decades ago, it

was really in that setting of anti aging. Well, clearly we should look at brain as something that we want to have anti aging effects with, right, But it's amazing how many clinical research trials have been conducted with risveratrol outside of that setting of extending lifespan. And we know that It does that through helping the end caps of your chromosomes, helps to protect those so if those get beat up, dinged up, they start to shrink. So if they're

shrinking, that means that the cell itself is losing function. If it loses function, then it's eventually just going to die off. So hence this is why you get that acceleration in aging. We don't want that. We want to be able to age very gracefully and slow that aging process down. So there's i think over sixteen thousand clinical research trials that have been conducted on resveratrol. So if you go through the National Institute of Health and you're just researching,

you know everything about resveratrol. I mean, there's just a wealth of information out there when it comes to risveratral. So they started to look at it in the setting of cardiovascular health, when it came to cardio metabolic conditions including diabetes, even in the setting of arthritis, and clearly when it came to its ability to blunt the effects of aging in the brain. And we

oftentimes refer to resveratral kind of as like a little housekeeper. It goes in and it can help to declutter so if we have a lot of cobwebs per se in the brain, this can be incredibly problematic because clouds everything up and this is where we have those issues when it comes to focus, attention,

and recall. So we know that if we're taking a high quality, high potent resveratral extract that this does wonders when it comes to the way that the brain is responding in periods of stress throughout our life, as well as just to combat the normal aging process itself. So it is far beyond that of just that protection of those end caps. We can clearly see its benefit throughout the entire body. Support for skin health, joint health, bone health,

brain health, lung health, and you name it. Risveratral has been studied in that setting and shown to be highly effective. Now what's interesting is not all resveratrals are created the same, and the main constituent of resveratrol that packs such a powerful punch is the trans resveratrol. Now we offer an incredibly powerful riserveratrol formulation. We have our reserveratral HX, but we also have the resveratral max and the resveratral max. When Jerry Hikey formulated this many years ago.

I was like, wow, you know this is this is really a great product because not only was our reseratral hx already at the top of the line. And I remember when I came on board to Invite Health many years ago and I saw this formulation that Jerry did, I was like, wow, this rosveratral x. It's a liquid, which is great because resveratrol is very prone to breaking down just in the manufacturing process because it's it's kind of it's very finicky, so if it's exposed to air, for example, different levels

of humidity, it can break down quite quite easily. So Jerry, you know, being a firm's this very well aware of this. And so this is why our riseratraal Atax as well as the reserveratral max are in a liquid form and they're made in a very controlled environment so they're not exposed to light or to oxygen, which can degrade that trans rasveratrol you lose its potency.

So this is why not all resveratrals are created the same. Clearly because you can walk into many stores now, many vitamin places, and you can find reserveratrol. But you're going to have to take a lot of that resveratrol to be able to potentiate the same benefits that we see in these different clinical trials. So when Jerry said, you know what, I'm gonna take risveratral atax

and I'm gonna supercharge this. I'm gonna make this even stronger, and I was like, Hey, I'm all about that because both of us understanding the power of what riseratraals actually doing for the entire body. So our reseratral max is giving you two hundred milligrams two hundred milligrams of trans resveratrol, which is

the highest amount of transrasveratral I have ever seen in a formulation. It is also giving you the OPCs from grape seed extract, so we're getting that circulatory support as well, which is key because we know that we have to have good circulation, good blood flow into the brain. And then it's also containing corsitin. So this is really wonderful because we know that there's a lot of detrimental neurotoxins out there that create a lot of the inflammation in the brain and

can hinder our brain's ability to function properly. So in one simple capsule. You are getting this high potent transversveratral partnered up with the illegal merit proanthocynodins from the grape seed extract along with the corsetin. So it's just a powerhouse for not just brain health, but for cardiovascular health and beyond. And I oftentimes always go back to the study that they did back in twenty eighteen at LSU, and this isn't brain health related, but it's just such a fascinating study.

I think it's well worth talking about whenever I can, and where the researchers at LSU said, well, we need to find a way to allow the heart to recover in a more expedient way after having a stent put in, and we know that many Americans get cardiac stents put in every single year.

So what they did is they actually saturated the stents with resveratrol. And in doing this, by delivering these powerful antioxidants during angioplasty and having the stent that's just saturated with all of this reserveratral, they could see the increase in terms of the healing time, but also the improved rate at which the blood

vessel itself and the surrounding tissue was healing itself. So I mean, it just tells you the power of reserveratral So now we go back and we say, okay, well, let's look at the reserveratral max, which has this really high amount of the transverserveratral with the grape seed has the corsetin and it also has MCT oil in this. And this is important because we know that those medium chain triglycerides are a source of energy, a fuel source, a

direct fuel source for our brain. So by taking a capsule of the reserveratral max, you're going to be super charging the brain's ability to declutter. So does the housekeeping. It's helping to support the oxygenation in the blood flow to the brain. It's targeting those neurotoxins that we're exposed to extrinsically from all the

different pollutants for example. And then we have the mct oil in this to the mct oil initially was put in there to prevent any type of oxidation onegain for another protective measure for that trans resveratrol, but MCT oil itself is a facilitator for energy within the brain. So when people are using resveratrol max they're like, yeah, my brain feels good and focused. And this is exactly

why we also have rosemary extract in this. We know that rosemary extract is an excellent way to once again protect that trans resveratrol from any type of oxidation from occurring. But it's also a wonderful way to regulate histamine. Now, what's fascinating is that if we have excess his to me, most of the time when people think about an antihistamine, you're thinking about sneezing and coughing and

all the allergy symptoms that can arise from having excess histamine. But we know that just like the chronic release of histamine in the body, and this can be coming from you know, foods that you're eating if the body's having a hard time metabolizing. There's a particular enzyme called dimine oxidase and that's in the intestines. So if you have a lot of inflammation that's occurring in the intestines, sometimes the body can start to build up excess histamine. And this can

present in many different ways. For some folks, maybe they get kind of itchy skin, for others, maybe they sneeze a lot. But for others it maybe in the setting of brain fog, so that histamine is crossing that blood brain barrier and it's creating these issues. So having the rosemary in this as well helps with that regulation of histamine. So now it's like, wow, okay, so this is giving you the MCT oil for the energy. You got rosemary to combat any histamine that's creating havoc in the brain. And

of course you're getting that two hundred milligrams of trans resveratrol. So this is what makes this formulation so incredibly unique. Now we have it, it's baby brother and that's resveratrol HX, and that was our original resveratrol formulation. Still incredibly popular. So many folks have used this product and have found it to be so helpful when it comes to just that overall sense of well being. And the resveratrol HX is once again it's this partnership of the transrasveratral along with

the grape seed extract along with the corsetin. So in the resveratral HX you're getting one hundred milligrams of transrasveratrol. So it's still very very powerful, and this once again has that protect coming from that rosemary extract, and this is just a really great way for folks to get this comprehensive benefit that goes along

with risveratral. As I mentioned, there's sixteen thousand studies on risveratrol, and we can see that when individuals are using this, maybe they're taking it because they want to target brain health. Maybe folks are taking this because they're like, hey, I know that this is very beneficial when it comes to my

circulatory system. And we know this this is coming from the French paradox, which is, you know, one of the claims to fames once again for trans rasveratrol is, hey, how is it that people in France have, you know, substantially higher protective markers in the body compared to Americans. So it's like, well, let's look at the diet and their consumption of high trans risveratrol foods is much greater than you have here in the United States.

So we know that the reserveratral itself leads us down this path where it helps with the regulation of different markers for inflammation. It can down regulate things like NF cappa beta, which really drives a lot of excessive inflammation throughout the cardiovascular system, but also with neuroinflammation as well. And we always want to be able to protect our brain cells from any form of ox dative stress or inflammation so that the longevity effect of our brain remains, so we can stay focused,

we can have good attention, we can have good recall. So I'm going to talk a little bit more about some of the other products that I have on special today, but I do need to squeeze in a quick break. So you were listening to Invite Health Radio. We will be right back, and here's today's special. I am doctor Amanda Williams. Happy Saturday morning to all of you out there. Hopefully

your weekend is off to a good start. Sounds like the weather is cool operating it with you that you guys have the the smoke free skies. And this is another thing too, thinking about Risveratral's the respiratory benefits, and I was thinking about that when I saw how much horrible you know, air pollution was occurring there and in New York. You just have to be cognizant in the city. We know that, you know, high levels of air pollutants exist. Most time, I always say, you don't see it, you

don't smell it. Maybe you're just so used to the smell of exhaust and coming from cars and busses and all that that you you're just unbenounced to you. Hey, I'm just you know, breathing this in every single day. But we know that the resveratrol max as well as the resveratraal HX would be

really good options for that respiratory support as well. The long term effects of resveratrol supplementation when it comes to cognitive function are you know, clearly noted through so many different clinical research trials in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition back in twenty twenty one, so this is fairly recent. They actually were looking at the use of resveratrol in post menopausal women. Now, the reason why this study

and I bring this study up post menopausal women. I always say they get the double whammy effect, and that is as estrogen levels start to plummet, this creates an imbalance and so many things. This is why post menopausal woman, as soon as that estrogen starts to go down, you see an uptick in bone loss and you also see an uptick in cardiovascular risk. So estrogen has very protective roles for women. And another aspect of this comes down to

cognitive function. And so for many women who go through menopause, sometimes they complain a lot about brain fog, and they'll go in and they'll talk to their doctrine. Their doctors like, ah, you're just stressed out here. Take this ant high depress and it's like, oh no, no, we're missing the mark here. This is not where the issue is. We're talking about hormonal imbalances that are driving all of these symptomatic effects. So this was

a twenty four month randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial. So half of the women in the group were given risveratrol every day for two years, and half of the women were given placebo, and they were looking at their improvement of overall cognitive performance over this trial. And what was really fascinating was to see how fast. So mind you, this was a twenty four month trial, but they're assessing these clinical outcomes along the course of this trial,

and they were seeing this significant improvement in cognitive performance. They were looking at memory, they were looking at recall. The enhanced cognition that was occurring in the group of women taking risveratrol was so markedly higher than the placebo group. They were looking at these cerebral vascular functions. So remember that blood flow aspect

into the brain. And this is why at the conclusion of this twenty four months they said, m we think risveratral here can you know, really potentiate a lot of cognitive benefits and even reduce the risk of dementia. So there's just another point to be noted when it comes to the power of resveratrol. Now we have another formulation, and this is one that I really enjoy talking about, and that is the Purple's HX. I like the Purple's HX for

a variety of different reasons. One to me the taste and the way in which doctor Pressman formulated this product so many years ago. It really packs this wonderful punch of powerful antioxidants. But the taste of it is so wonderful. And so this is why we always want to zero in on what we can

be taking every day. Instead of turning to something like a cranberry juice or a grape juice in the morning, or an apple juice or an orange juice, we can look at the Purple's HX and we can say, well, hey, this is packed with all of these you know, blue and purple pigmented fruits and vegetables. It also has this wonderful amino acid blend in it to help super charge up all of ourselves. And when we look at the vascular benefits that go along with the Purple's HX, this is why I turned

to this one so often say. I always say, hey, if you want to start your day off with incredible cellular support, take one scoop of Purple's X, add that to some water, and you are off to the races. Your blood vessels are going to be happier, your brain is going to be happier. It really is a comprehensive cardiovascular as well as cerebral vasqueular

formulation. And the science behind how these different anthocyanins that are in this formulation are working, once again, have been so well studied looking at studies on blueberry extract, BlackBerry extract, black cherry extract, which are all included in the Purple's HX. It also contains other wonderful extracts such as beetroot extract. And certainly we know that beat root extract helps to enhance nitric oxide production.

So the higher amount of nitric oxide equals better vasodilation. So if we have vasodilation, what does that mean for us well, vasodilation is going to allow for better blood flow, so we're getting optimal blood flow to the entire body, including to the brain. So you have all these wonderful extracts that are in this formulation along with touring, along with carnatines. Remember carnatine, that's an energy producing amino acid, wonderful for muscle health, for your heart,

and of course for your brain. And then it has touring, and we know touring is kind of that key amino acid that's so often overlooked in the body in terms of its clinical relevance and its importance what it's doing to actually allow for the connections within the brain as well as the regulation of heart function

every single day. So the combination of having carnentine and touring really does allow this particular formulation, the Purple's HX to have this intense way to support not only the health of your heart, but really in particular looking at brain health, I oftentimes default to to a study that was done with blueberry extract and how the utilization of blueberry X really was profound in terms of how it allowed

for better oxygenation and blood flow once again to the brain. This was a randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial that was conducted in twenty seventeen published in the Nutritional Neuroscience Journal. What was fascinating about this study on blueberry extracts. This is why I always tie this into Purple's HX, because we're looking at a high amount of blueberry extract in this formulation. This was done via functional MRIs, and what a functional MRI is doing is it is testing in

real time the brain's response to a key ingredient. So and they do this with pharmaceutical agents too, but in this particular study, they gave these individuals who were over the age of sixty eight years old. They gave them blueberry extract, just dried blueberry extract, had them drink this, and then they put them into the MRI machine and then they were looking at brain activity.

And what was incredibly fascinating about this particular study was that the blueberry extract allowed for these areas in the brain for recall, for focus, attention, to really start to have this just profound neronal connection once again. And so when you're taking the Purple's HX, you can think about this study and be like, hey, you know, if they were putting me into an MRI machine right now, my brain would be lighting up. And this is a wonderful

thing. And we always want to be able to choose different products that we can incorporate into our routine, especially during the summer. We want to zero in on our hydration. We want to make sure that we are doing the right things when it comes to staying hydrated, and taking the Purple's HX as an excellent choice as opposed to using a sports rank or some type of soda. And don't kid yourself if it's called diet soda, it's not somehow healthier.

It's actually worse for you. There's a study that was conducted. Remember working with a preventive medicine doctor many years ago, and I kept telling her because she would tell her her diabetic patients, oh, yeah, it's fine, you can drink diet soda. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no no no, this is gonna worsen their insulin resistance, Like this is not good. So finally I pulled a study

and I said, okay, look at this study. Please read through this study, and it showed that individuals who were drinking diet soda one can of diet soda daily, and I think that they track these folks over the course of six months that their rate of insulin resistance was significantly higher than those that were drinking regular soda. And so she was like, oh wow, I did. I didn't ever realize the artificial sweeteners were that bad. I'm like,

uh, yeah, it's called artificials. So if it's called artificial, we should not be putting it into our system. So hopefully, you know, many years later, she is not telling any of her diabetic patients to, yeah, go ahead and drink that diet soda because we know not so

great. So the Purple's Ax nonetheless incredibly powerful antioxidant blend partnered up with that carntine along with the touring, and anything we can do to enhance our brain function every day, anything that we can do to enhance the circulatory system is something that we should be definitely looking at. So even if you don't take

it every day. I always tell folks, you know, with some of our powdered formulations, whether it be the red Zchex or the Green's Chex or the Purples, even if you're not taking them every day, if you take them two or three times out of the week. Trust me, that's much better than not taking them at all. And but if you are taking the Purple's HX every day, you just know you're like, Okay, this is

great for my heart, great for my brain. Now. I talked about this a couple of weeks ago when I was with you, and that was our brand new Memory Multi vitamin. So the Memory Multi vitamin is definitely very nice to have on board as your daily multi vitamin. It is a comprehensive multivitamin, multimineral complex, so it's our core multi vitamin. So it has your natural vitamin E, it has those keylated minerals for optimal absorption. You get the activated B vitamins, you get co enzyme Q ten. So I

can go on and on and on about just our core multi vitamin. So this is what the Memory Multi is. It's the core multi but then it's enhanced and it contains genko belobo, it has lodosed lithium, and it has coaling in the form of CDP coaling also known as city cooling. And so these three nutrients work synergistically together for optimal brain health every day. So we talk about that brain aging effect and we want to be able to protect the

brain from accelerated aging. Having this combination of a very powerful multivitamin multimineral partnered up with these three nutrients that genko Belobo, which is so well studied when it comes to cerebral vascular support, having the lithium, which has been very well studied when it comes to an aging brain, and helping with focus and attention, and of course because it's a trace mineral, we're also getting other benefits it's outside of that of just brain health. Also very beneficial when it

comes to the health of your bones. So this is just one of those side benefits that goes along with this product. And then you have the CDP calling so we're helping to support healthy memory and recall. We're really encouraging the synthesis of those key neurotransmitters, the things that make us feel good, things like serotonin for example, and supporting just overall memory function and mood by taking

this daily multivitamin. Now, there's a very interesting study that just came out on multivitamins, and I want to share that with you, but I do need to squeeze in one more break, So stick around with me, folks. Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams talking about the Memory multi vitamin, our brand new formulation that contains the Ginko beloba so well studied for its ability to enhance healthy blood flow to the brain, very powerful anti accidents and helps to even fight off any of those free radicals that start to build up and accumulate. We know that the lithium is working wonders when it comes to the

clearance of crud as I like to say that builds up. One of the things that we know lithium can do is it inhibits the activity of this enzyme known as glycogen synthase kinase three. So that's a big long word, but the glycogen synthase kindase three, we know that one that's overactive in the body. It creates a lot of problems in terms of accelerating our aging process. So we want to be able to tamper that down. We know that the

lithium helps to do that. So the Memory multivitem and incredibly comprehensive. Having that CDP coline in that you partner that up with our krill oil advance, you get an extra boost of coline because that has the phosphatidal coline. In that I do have the krill oil Advanced on special today. As you know the importance of omega three's each day as part of your supplementation routine incredibly important.

We use a very high potent, clean sourced antarctic krill, so when you look at the spectrum of what's actually contained in our kuryll oil, you're actually getting a very high amount of those total omega three fatty acids along with that naturally occurring phospho lipid known as phosphatital coline. So that helps to make a ceo cooline which is great for memory. And then it also contains naturally occurring as to xanth and that key carotenoid that supports your eye health as well

as brain health. So the krill oil Advanced should be part of a daily supplementation routine. If you're not doing that, then using fish oil obviously, But we definitely always want to zero in on this. So I had mentioned that there was a new study talking about the use of multivitamin multimineral formulation. This was published in the Nutrients Journal, and they were zeroing in on men which is interesting. Tomorrow's Father's Day and they said that older men need more

nutritional content that their diet is not providing them. So I looked at this kind of in a sense with a grain of salt, because I was like, well, everybody needs more nutrients than what their diets providing. Even if you're eating healthy, you're still going to be likely falling shy on key nutrients. But nonetheless, they they took a group of men over the age of sixty five years old, and they had half of the group not take anything,

and the other group was taking a multi vitamin multimineral supplementation. And what was fascinating about this is they were having them assess their food intake, so keeping a little food diary, and then they looked at all of these different indicators for cell health and for inflammation in the body, and they found that the individuals who were taking the multivitamin multimineral complex each day had significant improvements on

their nutritional biomarkers. So they were even looking at vitamin status, clearly the mineral status, but also looking for those markers for inflammation, and they said that there's definitely a connection between vitamin status and the way in which the body is responding to inflammation. So it just kind of goes without saying a multivitamin multimineral should be added into anyone's daily routine, regardless of your age, regardless

of what your health concerns may be. And so it's just really identifying which one of the health multi vitamins is most suited for me. And this is when you want to speak with one of our nutritionists so that you are taking the right nutrients for your specified needs. The memory multivitamin definitely is kind of

one of those really comprehensive ways to address those underlying concerns. So, like I said, if you have a lot of stress in your life and you feel like that stress is affecting your cognitive ability, then you want to be taking that memory multivitamin. We want to make sure that the cells of the body are getting nourished with all of those key vitamins and minerals and then enhanced with that ginkobloba, enhanced with that lithium, so we can get rid of

that crud. We can help to support good blood flow to the brain, good oxenation to the brain. We're supporting the actual cell membrane with that CDP coaling in that that very important membrane. Fat kind of takes me back. You have the fat brain line, you have the skinny brain line. So part of what helps us stay in that fat brain line is our omega three fatty acids. Are taking Krill Oil Advanced and also taking that memory multivitamin which

contains that CDP colling. So it's a very powerful way to address some of those things trouble focusing. Maybe you're just feeling just mentally fatigued, and that's a big concern that a lot of people will come in and talk to about, Like I just feel like my brain is tired. So if you're having these issues, the Memory multivitamin so easy to take. Everything is in one

simple packet and it is a powerhouse plush. You get those activated B vitamins, which are also incredibly beneficial when it comes to neurotransmitter production for cellular detoxication. So anything that we can do to declutter the body, remove any harsh toxins, and at the same time create an environment that we have better neuronal connection is always a good avenue that we want to travel down. Now, finally I have something that's not necessarily in the scope or the realm of brain

health, but definitely very important. And so since tomorrow's Father's Day and there's a lot of dad's out there, grandfather's out there, Oh, maybe complain a bit about, you know, having some knee pains, some hip pain, maybe their shoulder is sore, whatever be the case. The hyaluronic acid and Devil's Claw extract I have that on special because we know that hyaluronic acid

is a very important substance found within the connective tissue. So when we're looking at the joint spaces and that synovial fluid that's that gel like cushioning that's made up of hyaluronic acid, we know that just through aging process, wear and tear, that that synovial fluid can start to lose its ability to protect the

joints from that impact. So by taking hyaluronic acid with Devil's Claw, this really allows the body a better means to be able to protect from further damage and having the Devil's Claw extract and that really zeroes in on the discomfort and that's usually what most people are complaining about. You know, if someone has a swollen knee but there's no pain associated with it, well, yeah, it may bother them that their knee is swollen, but that's not what they're

complaining about. So we have to always look at the pain aspect, and we know that this is what drives most people to seek out different options when it comes to arthritis. So the hyaluronic acid and Devil's claw combination is a very good way for you to address these concerns. So maybe you do get up in the morning and you feel like you've got that stiff knee. Maybe you're going up a flight of stairs, or you're getting in your car and you have to drive and commute to work and you go to get out of

the car and you're like, oh gosh, I'm all stiff. If this is you, if you're hearing that where you know some one who experiences that highaluronic acid and devil's claw is a really great way to help lubricate the joints, so creates that nice slippery effect and that's what we want. And then

you have the Devil's claw, which is so incredibly impressive. And University of Maryland I remember reading years ago they kind of went through and they were explaining what devil's claw is and this powerful way in which the act of constituents that are coming from the Devil's claw was used to treat pain, to zero in on liver health conditions, kidney problems, and they said it was used for hundreds of years and in particular in Europe, they were finding that individuals would

use the dried root extract coming from the Devil's claw for so many aspects of inflammatory conditions and issues with pain. So we look at arthritic pain and that's what most people will complain about. Having this Devil's claw partnered up with that lubricating highaluronic acid is a really excellent way for us to be able to health support the joint. And this is a clear reason why when people start using this product, they use that hyaluronic acid with the Devil's claw, they're like

wow, like this is really wonderful. And the side benefit that goes along with this product, remember there's always a side benefit. The side benefit is the enhanced improvement that you will see in your skin. So if you look in the mirror and you're like, oh goodness, I have more fine lines

and wrinkles, where are these things coming from? First, we want to make sure we're taking our collagen and our vitamin C, but we also want to look at highaluronic acid because we want to allow for good hydration and that plumping effect to occur. So taking this, maybe you're taking it specifically because you have a lot of knee painter, you have shoulder painter, you have tennis elbow, but understanding that this is also going to make its way into

the system to allow for better hydration and appearance of the skin. And another interesting thing about the Devil's Claw as a just a point to make as a side benefit, also very beneficial when it comes to regulation of appetite because it's working within the hormone pathway with grillin and in the Close one journal they talked about this. So once again side benefit, you're taking this hyaluronic acid with Devil's Claw. It's helping to support joint health, skin health, but also

for metabolism as well. So what over quite a few things today, what's on special Risveratrol max, Risveratrol HX, the Purple's HX, Kryl Oil, Advanced Memory Multi and the hyaluronic acid with Devil's Claw.
