So we still have our wonderful service that we offer for free, and that is to talk to one of our nutrition experts to do take advantage of that, and of course stick around to all of the latest things as
we are making this transition into our twenty fifth year. As you know, today is Saturday, and I am a huge college football fan, So the Wolverines, the Michigan Wolverines are kicking off their Big ten home openers, so you know I will be glued to the screen all day today watching all of the football action. But I do need to to get going with today show and really zero in on some nutrients that are beneficial for your health, because at the end of the day, that is what is most important to us
at Invite. Hell. I've been doing this for many many years now, not to date myself, but I've been doing this for a long time, and the one thing that always stands out to me is how unique each and every single one of us are. And yes, I maybe work with someone who has diabetes and then I work with another diabetic, but their concerns or their needs can really vary. And it's the same thing when we think about joint health. So I want to really dive into this today and talk about
these different formulations. One in particular that I'm going to start off with is our flex HX. This product is kind of one of those go to comprehensive formulations that when I'm working with someone, I oftentimes will say, well, let's add the flex HX into your routine, and they say, well, you know, shouldn't I do collagen or biokirkumen. And of course those are good, very good options, and the science behind those definitely relevant. And
we know we need collagen. Know that once we hit fifty years old, we've lost about fifty percent of our natural collagen, So of course we need to put collagen in. But what's unique about flex HX is this contains collagen, so it's a comprehensive, blended formulation. So you're getting collagen, you get bromelane, which is from the stem of the pineapple. And the reason why that's so helpful when it comes to your joint pain and inflammation. I
always describe bromelane as like pac Man. You know, people can go back to the Arcade games and think about pac Man, how it goes through and
gobbles up all the little dots. Well, this is how I look at bromelane is it's a proteolytic enzyme and it has this really finite ability to go into our body and find the even the most obscure amounts of inflammation, which when we're thinking about joint inflammation, we know that there are certain areas, little nooks and crannies your joints that are inflamed that are creating a lot of pain for you. So having bromelaine in this formulation is definitely very helpful.
Before we had this product bromelaine as a standalone, we have a formulation that just contains bromlane. I turned to this a lot. I advise brom lane for a whole slew of different things. You can use it for digestive health. You'll say, if you have a heavy meal, you feel like it's not you know, breaking down well enough, take some bromelaine by all means. I always say bromlane is one of those products you should always just have
a bottle. You know, if maybe you step off the sidewalk a little wonky and you get a little sprained ankle, twist your your ankle a little bit, Bromelaine excellent. Maybe you go in for dental work, you come home and you're a little sore. Bromelane. It is absolutely a fabulous supplement. So I always say it's a go to. You should have it on your shelf even if you're not using it every day. But what's nice is the flex HX contains bromelaine in it along with drum roll, our key component
to joint health collagen. So it has the hydrolyzed collagen peptides in this and a good amount a substantial amount. You're getting five grams, which is five thousand milligrams of hydrolyzed collagen. We know we need to have that collagen in order to replenish and restore all of the collagen that's been lost through the years. This is also partnered up with kendrouton. Now many people have heard about
kendrouten and glucosmine and kendraten. Well, there's a reason why. Mean, Glucosemine is a natural compound that's found in our cartilage and especially when we look at the fluid around the joints. So taking glucosamine or kendriten as a supplement would be incredibly advantageous. It kind of makes the same sense as taking collagen. We know that we lose glucosamine and condriten as we get older, and we know that if we use it as a supplement to put it back in
to replenish it. We can get an awful lot of support from that. So we know that kendroiton is this major major component of your cartilage and it helps to retain water, so it helps to retain that fluidity. And this is important because you think about the gel like cushioning not just in your knees, I mean think about in your back. A lot of people end up with arthritis in their back the lower lumbar area. Well, it makes sense
think about it. We're stomping around this earth, you know from the time that we can walk, and think about all of that pressure, that compression that's occurring within your vertebrae, within the spine. So when we lose some of that fluidity, that gel like cushioning, that can be a big problem.
This is where you're condroiting comes into play. Now, having a formulation like flex HX that combines your hydrolyzed collagen, so we know, being that it's in that hydrolyzed form, we're gonna get wonderful uptake into the system. And keep in mind too, this is really good for your hair and for your skin, for your blood vessels because it's collagen, right. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, so replenishing it is quite critical.
So we've got the condroitin, We've got our bromelaine. The brom laine's working like pac man, going through and eating up that inflammation. And then we have manganese and we have copper in this. And many times when we think about joint health, we don't think about how our minerals impact the health of our joints. Certainly we think about it with bone health. We recognize, yeah, we need to have you know, boron magnesium, calcium obviously
for our bones. But when it comes to your joints, manganese is really very important. Now not just the fact that it's a mineral, but it actually participates as an action in the body as an antioxidant and it helps the body create superoxide disney taste, an SOD. I've talked about this in the past, how important SD is just for your cardiovascular system, making sure that our blood vessels aren't getting all clogged up. So manganese is required for many
different activities in the body. We look at just our overall metabolism every single day. Like I said, a lot of times we focus on magnesium and we know the importance of magnesium, but manganese is very essential as well. So when we look at cholesterol management body, we look at our glucose, our blood sugar control, manganese has a role into this. Now, if we have inadequate manganese in our system, this can actually result in problems with
our cartilage and with our bones. So we know that manganese when we partner this up with our collagen, this is very important. I mean, when you think about having a wound for example, in order for our body to heal itself, we have to have an increase in collagen and this is supported with vitamin C and proline and lysing, but also manganese. This is really
very important. So when we supplement with manganese, this helps that need that is occurring within your joints where maybe you have this loss of collagen, loss of cartilage. So we're once again replenishing this back into the system, which is very critical when we think about long term health of our joints. And then we think about copper in this same setting and understanding that through the activation of copper and manganese we can really get a significant amount of targeted you know,
anti inflammatory action as well as antioxidant action. People have probably seen the copper compression things that people were like for their knees, you know, and it has the copper in it. Well, there's a reason why copper is looked at in this light because we recognize that copper is needed for energy production in the body for connective tissue formation. So when we have joint inflammation, utilizing copper internally in the supplementation like flex HX provides, we're getting this help.
We're getting this activation of energy within the joint space. We're helping to support the collagen and the elastin which helps circulation as well. So it's a very comprehensive formulation when we really start to break down what is in flex HX. And this is why oftentimes it's one of the number one products that I will turn to and someone says, you know, over the past, you know, six months, my knee has really been bothering me. What should
I be doing? So I'll say, well, you know what, let's let's look at flex HX because I know that we're getting this targeted approach. I know that we're replenishing some of those key minerals that are potentially low, so that copper and the manganese, we're getting the collagen which we know has just been you know, wasting away since we hit about thirty years old. It keeps, you know, going out the door. That's what happens with
your collagen. And then we get our condroitent and we know that that also begins to diminish as we age. So this combination, along with that brommelin coming from the stem of the pineapple to eat up all that inflammation makes this a really great nutritional support formulation for your joints. So what I'm gonna do, I'm and take a quick break. When I get back from that break, I'm going to talk a little bit about some of the science behind these
nutrients. Then I want to talk about cartilage AHAX. This is another really fascinating product, and the science and the research behind this dates back quite a few decades now, and I want to talk about how they initially found out about this and where we've gone to today with using this as a nutritional supplement. So we will be right back just after this. For twenty five years, Invite Health has been leading the way in wellness with our extensive line of

I
am doctor Amanda Williams, Scientific director at invite Health. We are talking about the Flex HX formulation. We know a lot of people are dealing with joint pain, joint inflammation that can become incredibly debilitating. So when you're using the flex, you're getting that hydrolyzed collagen, you get the bromelaine for the inflammation, We're getting the kendriten to replenish and support the cartilage within the joint space.
And we get those two key minerals. We're getting that copper and that manganese. It's a really nice way to address any issues that may be occurring with you in your joints. I wanted to talk a little bit about kendriten because scientific research is always advancing, and this is what makes it incredibly fascinating. But one of the things that we have learned through the years is that
glucosamine and kendriten go far outside of just that of joint support. And in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition over a decade ago, they actually revealed their findings from a major public health research study that had been conducted out of University of Washington, and they did this in combination with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and they were looking at the data from close to eighty thousand men
and women between the ages of fifty and seventy six years old. And what they did is they followed these folks over the course of ten years and they had them fill out these different questionnaire forms. What's your diet like, do you take any vitamins? All of these different fun facts. Well, what was really interesting was at the end of this study they started to see this trend that people who supplemented with glucoseman and kendraiton had a significant lower rate of
mortality. And I think that this is a relevant thing to talk about because we have to say, what is it. You know, it's not because they have better joints, right that they're living longer because they have better joints. There must be something else to this. And what they found was that the glucosamine and kendraten directly inhibit a major pathway of inflammation in the body known
as NF cappa beta. And with the use of things like kendraiten that you're getting the flex HX, they were able to see that these anti inflammatory properties that both glucosmine as well as kendraiten have that this was far outreaching that of just targeting the joints. They were seeing this system wide, so throughout the
cardiovascular system, throughout the brain. So this is just another reason as to why to say, yeah, you know what, maybe that flex HX product of something I should look into because now seeing this science and seeing just how
powerful this can be. And there was a study that they did years ago too, and it was in the annuals of the Rheumatic Diseases Journal, where they took a group of people who had asked to arthritis of the knee and they wanted to see if they gave them kendraitan, like, well, let's just give them condritan. Let's see how they do versus giving them celebrates.
And we know celebrates that's one of the cocks to inhibitor drugs. Member its partner was by Ox that they yanked off the market because of potential for sudden heart attack and death. So thank gosh they removed that. But celebrex still comes with its own cardiovascular risk. So they are always looking for alternatives, and so in this research this is what they did. They set up this
trial where they took people who have arthritis in their knee. They said, let's see how they do on kendritan versus how they do on these celebrates. And they were happy to report back that when we give people condritten supplementation, they do really well. And you know, oftentimes people say, well, how much do I need to take? And once again this comes down to that individualized approach. I will tell you that the condritting that we have in
this formulation is a high absorption condritent, So it's twenty milligrams. Now, if you just see a standard condritent extract out there on the market, it may be like four hundred milligrams. But the way that this is actually bound it's called dermatin sulfate, and the way that that is bound and up took into your system is much more efficient and effective than just a standard condritten formulation.
So this is why when people start to use the flex HX, they really start to see that difference and they're like, oh, you know what, I think I'm gonna I'm gonna tell some friends about this one. And we have testimonials that are even on our website, you know, talking about you know, how this is the best stuff. You know, I had an ailing knee and I was utilizing this, and you know how well that
they're doing on this. Another person wrote in saying, you know, I've been taking flex HX, hearing about it on invite radio, and they found that it is working for them. Just marvelously and they happen to be a runner, so a lot of compression going on within their knee and their hips, and so utilizing the flex AHAX has really given a significant benefit to them. Now I want to talk about cartilage cartilage h X. This is just a humdinger of a formulation. I love science, So anytime you can kind
of peel back the layers of you know, how something was discovered. Like I love the history of Cohens. I'm Q ten that scientists just kind of stumbled upon it and was like, hey, what is this stuff? Oh yeah, act actually exists in the human body, and oh it's pretty darn important too. Well, this is similar when we think about how they stumbled upon the cartilage HX. So this is a type two undenatured collagen. So we look at the flex HX. That's type one collagen, that's the most
abundant type of collagen found in the body. But cartilage HX, this has a really unique form and it is the type two form. Now, when we think about how it is that researchers and do a test and maybe they're focused on one thing and then they find a benefit of something else. This is basically the history of type two collagen. So you had researchers at University
of Wisconsin and University of Nebraska and they were looking at bone broth. They said, okay, we've always heard that, you know, if someone sick with a common cold they have chicken noodles soup that this can help. So what is it within the soup that's actually yielding this help? And what they found in doing this study was that they could see this very unique form of collagen. They said, hmm, okay, well, this collagen is working in a way that we've never seen collagen work, and that way is it's
regulating the immune system. So it's not like it's just replenishing collagen like this type to collagen is actually working as an immune regulator. So then you have other researchers that say, well, wait a minute, if this is regulating the immune system, then this would probably be really good for people who have like rheumatoid arthritis, or folks who have even osteoarthritis, because remember it was
always thought that osteoarthritis was solely just wear and tear. Like you know, you're a football player and you know you ran track and field or whatever. Be the case that your joints began to break down because of just overuse. Well to a degree, yes, this is definitely true in os to arthritis, but we also cannot overlook the fact that it is an immune component to this. It's the immune system that's driving up all of that inflammation, which
is what creates the pain in your knee. So if we can use this really unique form of collagen that helps our immune system calm down so it's not going into this full attack mode driving up inflammation and driving up pain within our joints, then that's pretty darn impressive. And hence this is where the cartilage
HX formulation comes to really show its real potential. And you can go back in time and you can start to look at the science of how they've studied this and how they've looked at this in terms of its clinical effectiveness in the
setting of osteoarthritis as well as in the setting of rheumatoid arthritis. And honestly, the very first studies that were done, we're in the setting of rheumatoid arthritis because this is an autoimmune condition, and when the researchers said, oh, hey, we know that this type two collagen helps to regulate the immune
system. We need to use this in people who have autoimmune conditions, so hence you fast forward and they say, okay, well it's working in them, let's see if it's going to work in everybody else who's got joint pain and inflammation. And sure enough, this is what they have found. So the form that we use is the type that was actually used in the human clinical trials in both rheumatoid arthritis as well as osteoarthritis. So it is you see, two is the name of it. So it's a registered trademark form
of this very unique type of collagen. So it's different than type one collagen. This is type two and it's undenatured state. This is so important because if we can do things to auto regulate our immune system, then we don't have to be reliant on continuously using end sets, which is what most people
use when they have arthritis. They're taking the leaves, they're taking the advils, they're taking ibprofen on a regular basis, and we know the long lasting harmful effect that those end sets, those non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs can have on your kidneys. Just to mention one area, we know that there are many other systems that are impacted with chronic overuse of non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs.
So if we can do something using this UC two, this registered trademark form of collagen that has been shown to basically go in and desensitize the immune system to prevent all of these pro inflammatory, you know, autoimmune attacks within the joint, then this is something that's pretty darn powerful. And hence this is where the science really takes over. Because it's one thing to assume this in say a lab setting, it is another thing to actually replicate it in
human clinical trials. And this is why the UC two has been shown to be so powerful and so effective. Now let me just give you one of the studies that came out back in two thousand and nine. This was in the International Journal of Medicinal Sciences where they were looking at the safety and the advocacy of using type two under natured collagen and the treatment of osteoarthritis of the name. So they took a group of individuals who have all been diagnosed with
osteoarthritis. Then they gave them type two under natured collagen, which is our cartilage HX formula. They had them do this for three months, so ninety days. At the end of that trial, they had significant improvement in their joint mobility, in the lessening of inflammation, and they said enhancement of their overall daily activity, so hence it was improving their quality of life, and
that's really very important. No, you can go back to the studies that proceeded that in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where they were using the cartilage HX,
that type two undernatured collagen in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. So you're taking people who have significant joint destruction that's occurring, and when they gave them the type two underenatured collagen this U see two that we have in the cartilage HX formulation, they had these really positive effects and they said there are no side effects. This is a very novel therapeutic agent that they should be considering
with all people who have not just rheumatoid arthritis, but also osteoarthritis. So when it comes to your joints, we know that there are millions of Americans who suffer from joint inflammation and joint pain, and maybe they just keep running down to their local Walgreens or cvs and they're grabbing their advil. But there's a better way to address this, you know, going to that root.
Cause we know that we have loss of collagen. We know that we have our immune system that gets overreactive and wants to generate all of this inflammation which is what we experience as the pain. So if we take a multi modal of approach to joint health, So this combination of using flex ahax along with Cartila JEX and just one capsulate, you can't get easier than that with cartilage X one capsule a day. Why do we say one capsule day? That's
the science on it. There have been shown that when you use consistently one capsule a day of the cartilage CHEX, you are going to be yielding those benefits that all of these scientific studies have shown time and time again. So I'm gonna talk a little bit more about why joint health matters, and then I'm going to talk about some weight loss formulations. But I need to take
a quick break, so we'll be right back just after this. For twenty five years, Invite Health has been leading the way in wellness with our extensive line of dietary supplements. I am doctor Amanda Williams, Scientific director at invite Health, and happy Saturday morning if you were just now joining us. I've been talking
about the importance of joint health. We know that there are millions of Americans who suffer with joint pain and inflammation on a regular basis, And there are so many different things that you can be doing. And keep in mind, exercise is important when it comes to maintaining your joints. A lot of times, when people start to experience more significant levels of arthritis, they become less
and less mobile. And studies have shown that actually maintaining that strength and that tone and that flexibility is important in stopping the worsening or the exacerbation of the destruction within the joint. But then we can look at adding in formulations such as the flex HX, the cartilage AJAX, which is just so incredibly unique. The science behind cartilage ahax is just so impressive. So what else shall we be doing? Oh, we can't overlook omega three's. And so this
is why I want to talk about krill oil today. And I talked about this a couple of weeks ago. Krill oil in the setting of brain health and why krill is just such a power house when it comes to our heart and our brain because it has those different components to it. So when we're looking at fish oil, for example, we're getting the high amount so volume wise, we're getting a high amount of omega three's krow, you get less total omega three, but it's more unique in the sense that it has other
nutrients that are already added into it that naturally are just occurring. So you get coline, so the phosphatidal coline in this we know that this is key for making acetal colin, which is your memory neurotransmitter, which is why it's
so good for brain health. But it also has asked to xanthon, and that asked to xanthin is a powerful crotnoid which is incredibly helpful when it comes to the health of your brain, to your heart, to your eyes, and certainly to the joints, because we know that joint destruction, just like loss of bone, so much of that is linked to oxidative stress or free radical damage. So this is why you, of course want to have a
good comprehend tens of omega three into your daily supplementation routine. And people many times will ask me, well, what's the difference, like should I be using fish oil or should I be using kryll oil, And there are differences, there are variables, and there are times where it may be advisable to use both that maybe that you're going to get more benefit from krill. So once again it's an individualized approach to this. Like my mother, for example,
she has always struggled with having elevated triglycerides. She kind of always fell into that metabolic syndrome class with having struggles with blood glucose, having high triglyst rides and elevated LDLs, And so for years I've had her on combination of fish oil and kryll oil, and she does really well with that in terms of regulating her triglyst ride levels and her total cholesterol. And of course I know the benefits that she's getting beyond that of just for cholesterol support. I
know that it's helpful for her joints. I know that it's really wonderful for her brain. Remember, our brain contains so many of those essential fats and we want to maintain those fats in our brain as we grow older. So this is why omega threes should be part of your routine. Now. My dad, on the other hand, he uses mainly krill oil, and the reason why he does the krill is because of the added support that he finds
to be so helpful for his joints. So now his cardiovascular profile is really quite excellent, and when it comes to his cholesterol levels, to his triglyss ride levels, and his blood sugar has always been really in a good, good shape. So for him, where he notices the benefit of taking krill oil is for his knees. And he was an athlete his whole life and to this day still exercises on a daily basis, so he finds that when he started taking krill many years ago that he was like, Wow, this
stuff is really helping me when it comes to my knees. Now there's a reason why that is, and we can look at how it is that krill is uptaken into our system, which is why when you look at early research done on krill oil, much of that was outside of that scope of just looking at cardiovascular and brain health, and a lot of it was primarily focused on its help for arthritis. Because we know that when it comes to just
conventional medicine, you know, regular doctors. I know I always kind of beat up regular doctors, and I don't mean too because there are some really good functional medicine doctors out there, But myself, I know, just going through medical school and going through my training, there's just not a lot of focus on the importance of diet and exercise, and when we're deficient in something, why replenishing or replacing that is so critical. And certainly when you look
at omega this is essential. Omega three fatty acids are essential, and we know that conventional medicine they just prefer when you look at treatments for arthritis, well let's just give you an end set, or let's give you celebrates or you know, gosh, now they're even giving people immuno modulatory like immuno suppressance for arthritis, which is very scary. But we now can see that krill is very targeted towards the joint damaging molecules and that inflammation that occurs within the
joint spaces. And the reason why is because of the way that the krill is absorbed into our system and taken into those small spaces like within your knees or within your hands. A lot of times people will experience problems with arthritis within their hands. So as you get older, if you start to see these issues, maybe start to consider krill oil as your go to Omega three. On top of the fact that you're getting that brain support with the phosphatitle
colline and you're getting that asked to xanthem. So it's kind of the triple threat of omega three's. One could say, now understanding how it is that krill in combination with other nutrients such as flex HX and cartilage HX, why this approach is so effective. And when I've had people use this type of routine, they come back and say, wow, you know, I really
can see this noticeable difference. And because, like I said, we're hitting the problem within that joint space, the destruction, the loss of collagen, the loss of cartilage, the loss of the fluid cushioning, and all of that inflammation and oxidative stress. So if we can use different nutrients that are all working synergistically together, so they're working together to yield that same positive benefit.
This is why this combo, this three nutrient combo flex achex, cartilage ahex along with krill oil advanced is just incredibly beneficial when it comes to the health of your joints. So I want to talk about some of the science behind this. And we know that krill has been studied for you being able
to lower triglyst rides. We've seen multiple research trials saying, hey, when people start using Krill oil, you know, say you're using our Krill Oil Advance, you take two capsules a day, go in and you have your cholesterol levels check and you're like, oh wow, look at my cholesterols coming into a healthier range. So we've seen all of those different scientific studies, but when it comes to krill and joint health is where it really gets quite
impressive. And the rate, the quickness or the speed, the rapid ability of krill to support the joints is what really has made me go to kryll as that number one Omega three. When it comes to the health of your bones the health of your joints, we know that there are so many people who are dealing with a combination of both osteoarthritis plus maybe osteopenia or osteoporosis.
And this is why utilizing the krill oil that we know takes into the joint space really nicely and it helps to resolve a lot of that destruction, and it also helps to ease so much of that inflammation. We know it's the inflammation that is driving up that significant amount of pain that people have. Now.
Interestingly enough, there was a study that they did. It was a double blind, placebo controlled trial where they had people take Krill oil and these were folks who had osteoarthritis and they had very high CEA reactive protein levels. So we know CEA reactive protein is a marker in the blood for inflammation.
And when they gave them three hundred milligrams of krill oil and then they had them do this over the course of two months, they started to see these levels dropping dropping, dropping, And what was interesting is the initial drop they saw it after two weeks. Just in two weeks, so CRP levels started to come down by upwards of thirty percent just in the first two weeks of being on krill oil. So I go back to this because I had a neighbor many years ago who came over and said, hey, you know,
would you mind looking at my blood work for me? I said, sure, no problems. So I was looking through all of her her labs and she had autoimmune thyroid issues, so she had Hashimoto's thyroid and she also had severe arthritis, and her creat to protein level was just off the charts. It was like in the fifties. And she says, well, my doctor said, they weren't really sure about that it might be my heart, now could it potentially be her heart, of course, but her other markers for
cardiovascular health looked to be pretty pretty good. So I said, well, you know you have autoimmune condition. You have you know, hashimotos, which can clearly create systemic inflammation, but you also have significant arthritis. You know, what do you take on a regular basis? And she didn't really take
anything. She said, I take just a basic multi vitamin. So I told her, I said, okay, let's get you on some krill oil and let's have you on krill oil Vitamin D because you have an autoimmune conditions. We know you need that vitamin D. And let's have you on some magnesium. So we put her on a comprehensive, little daily routine that she could stick with, and she did. And after three months she went back and she had her levels tested, and she came back and she goes,
you're not going to believe this. My doctor was amazed. My c react of protein level is all the way down to a four now, and I was in the fifties and they were so concerned that it was my heart and now it's all the way down to a four. And I said, okay, you know, and it's likely that your CRP level will always tend to be, you know, just slightly over the elevated range because of having this morbid condition of having arthritis along with thyroid. But to this day she still
is using her Krill Oil, the Krill Oil Advanced. And that's important because we want to make sure that we're always doing what we can to avoid adding in salt to injury is always the way that I describe it. We don't want to create havoc in our body when we don't need to. So, you know, your diet certainly matters. You need to be adherent to a
Mediterranean diet. Those high antioxidant foods certainly make a difference. And of course adding in adequate omega threes so Krill oil and I would say two caps a day at minimum. For some folks, I will tell them, you know, you need a higher amount two caps twice a day. It really just depends. We always want to think about the foods that we're eating. Now, you know, I'm making sure that we have high fiber foods, antioxidant foods, so fruits and vegetables. That's what I'm talking about here. We want to make sure that we are doing some type of exercise. I would say, find something that you like. Do not set yourself up for failure and say I'm gonna go ride my bike, you know, five miles a day. When you don't enjoy riding a bike, don't set yourself up for failure.
Find something that you actually enjoy doing. Now, a couple of little tips. We have a really wonderfu formulation called trim HX that I want to discuss in some details today. This is a combination of five HTP, which is five hydroxy trip to fan which is the your precursor to making serotonin. Why does that matter? Well, serotonin is our happy neurotransmitter, and it
also really can help to regulate our satiety center in our brain. So for those who have a tendency to maybe have that afternoon or late evening urge to want a snack, having some five HTP on board can definitely be beneficial.
So this is partnered up with grains of paradise. Now, this is such a unique nutrient and the science on the grains of paradise is so incredibly impressive when it comes to its anti inflammatory activity, but more importantly, the way that it can make your white fat cells want to act more like brown fat cells. Now, why does that matter Because when you're baby, so baby fat. People always say, oh, look at that little baby and look
at their little you know, fatty wrinkles on their arms. That's the brown fat. Now that rapidly can burn off. White fat. On the other hand, yeah, it's a little tougher, And this is where we run into the problem because it's hard to get white fat to want to act like brown fat and have that thermogenic ability, the ability to burn off. So when we look at the technical term we talk about lippolasis or the breakdown of
that fat. Well, what we have seen from the scientific research that's so impressive with grains of paradise, which is found in the trim HX formulation, is that with the supplementation of grains of paradise, they have found that it can actually reduce body fat by making your white fat act like brown fat. And that in and of itself is enough to have most people say hmm,
okay, well, that sign me up for that. But when you think about what's happening when we're carrying around access weight and access fat cells, we get this localized inflammation. So we also want to be able to address that. And this is why that grains of paradise is so impressive as well as so effective when it comes to weight loss and managing healthy weight, because not only is it creating this thermogenic or this fat burning ability, it is also
targeting the inflammation around those fat cells. When they have done the clinical research trials, they have found that the grains of paradise contain an awful lot of these ginger roles in them. Because the grains of paradise is part of the ginger family and it's these active constituents that are contained within the grains of paradise that really help with this activation of that brown fat cell. So where you do have some residual brown fat cells, it really helps to activate those.
And then for the white fat cells, it allows them to try to mimic the action of the brown fat cells. Within four weeks of supplementation of the grains of paradise. And this is a study that was published in the British Journal of Nutrition back in twenty thirteen. What they found was that within four weeks of using grains of paradise in men who were overweight, they started to
see the significant shift in their fat distribution. That's pretty impressive. So now you say, okay, so now you're partnering that up with the five HDP. And we know that the five hydroxy trip to fans certainly is very geared towards making sure that our satiety center, that we're feeling happy, that we're not down and out and wanting to go and snack on everything that we come across in our kitchen. You know, the best thing is not to bring
those things into your house. But I understand people have weak moments, but we can look at the actual science high five HTP and start to understand why it has been so effective when it comes to weight loss as aid in a sense for the mood regulation, because so much of weight management comes down to not only being able to generate the ability to burn off at but also with
the regulation of our different hormonal pathways. Now, if we're really stressed out, that's not a good thing, and over time that's going to impact your mood. So this is hence why five HDP can be so incredibly effective.
University of Michigan they talked about this how five HDP actually works for appetite reduction as well as weight loss, and they found that giving people five HDP anywhere in the range of five hundred to eight hundred milligrams per day over the course of twelve weeks, they started to see this average of about eleven pounds of
weight loss. So now you look and say, okay, so you have a product called trim achus that combines up the grains of paradise, so making our fat cells want to burn off, helping the inflammation around that fat, and then we partner that with that five hydroxy trip to fan, which is a one two power punch. When it comes to targeted weight loss, especially when we're trying to do it in a more finite window, taking the trim
ahex is an excellent choice. Now, how would you take this? This is often a question that comes up like, Okay, yeah, I'm interested in this product, but how do I take it? Well, I advise that if you are looking for that more rapid benefit coming from the trim achex is that you would take one capsule three times per day, so one at breakfast, one at lunch, one at dinner. So this is my advice too. Are you going to yield a benefit if you just take it twice
to day? Certainly you are. But if we want to kind of fast track that, I would go one with each meal. Now the other thing is the phase two. Now, why is this such a fascinating find? The old phase two? We're using white kidney being extract. This has been studied so extensively over the past two decades in terms of its multiple benefits not only for weight loss, but also for blood glucose regulation, for healthy cholesterol
support. When we think about the Mediterranean diet and all of the wonderful things that go along with this, this is one of those positive foods that we can look at, we can say oh okay, yeah, because the high fiber, wonderful vitamins and minerals, powerful antioxidants in the way that the enzymes within the Phase two is actually working very impressive. Now, there are numerous clinical research trials that have studied our Phase two formulation that we offer at invite
Health. Our Phase two has been studied and I think at this point in time, maybe twelve or fifteen different clinical research to show how effective it is in blocking carbohydrates. So the more bad carbs that perhaps you're having in your diet, we want to be able to block those so that they're not converting into sugars and then being stored as a fat. That's never a good thing.
So what we can see from these clinical research trials is an improvement across many different markers, so not only for the weight loss component, but also for an improvement when it comes to blood sugar, when it comes to maintaining
healthy cholesterol. All of these things are very key. Just this year they went and they did a meta analysis looking at the Phase two formulation and finding just how impactful this is because it's blocking something called alpha amalyas when we think about the way our carbohydrates to say, you're going out to a restaurant. You know you're gonna have pasta, you know you're gonna cheat, and you're like, listen, I'm having my pasta, I'm having my bread. I
don't care. This is what I'm doing. This is my advice, take your phase two before you have that meal, because at least we can impede a lot of that harmful uptake of those carbohydrates by adding in that Phase two. So this is really important. I always tell folks if you're going to be using Phase two, always keep a bottle with you on hand for those emergency situations like, Hey, I'm going to a restaurant. I didn't know I was going to. I'm probably going to order something that's not that healthy
for me. Let me take my Phase two. So what we can see from this meta analysis that looked at all of the different clinical trials that assess the effectiveness of the phase two formulation that we offer at invite, what they were able to conclude was a statistical significant difference in body weight and body fat in those who supplement with phase two, and so phase two best way to use that is with your high carb meals, so I would always advise trying
to sneak that in about fifteen minutes before you sit down for a star archie intake of food. But you can certainly take it even if you're not having a high card meal as well, and you're still going to be yielding those other benefits that go along with that.
