Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional Science today right here, right now. Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams, Scientific director at Invite Health. Happy Saturday morning to everyone. This is an exciting Saturday for us at Invite Health because we have kicked off our Thanksgiving sale. So stop by one of our stores today or tomorrow or throughout the week and take advantage of the wonderful savings that we have for you to kick off off
this holiday season. And as we know, with the holidays come many different factors that can arise. Of course, there can be joy and happiness with the holidays, but there can also be stress, and we know that stress can impact so many aspects of our overall sense of well being. So we know that there's many different nutrients that we can turn to, so I'm going to talk about some of those. There's some new and exciting studies that have just come out, so I want to talk about those as well today.
Remember that our nutritional experts, they're available seven days a week, so you can stop by one of our stores and you can have a consultation with one of our experts. And remember we have our naturopathic doctors available as well. We have doctor Claire. She is in the Upper east Side location, so
you can certainly stop by and have a chat with her. And also remember if you can't make it into one of the stores, and that's okay if you can't, because sometimes it's just difficult with your schedule, you can go to our website, invite health dot com, and you can sign up to have a phone consultation and have one of the nutritionists give you a call. So we try to make it as simple as possible to lessen your stress.
By the way, I've been a little stressed out lately because, as you know, I'm a Michigan fan, and Michigan's just in hot Water, and it's just every day there's something new, chaotic, happening. Oh goodness, you know, can you just do things the right way? But unfortunately,
uh, it does take a hit on the players too. And that's where I really struggle with this, because you know, these athletes, they put in so much time and effort and to have some yeah, knuckleheads out there doing the wrong things and how far up that chain that goes, I don't know. But in any event, as I've mentioned before, whoever is responsible, they need to be held accountable because you know, it really takes away
the highlight and all the hard work that all of these athletes do. But I will be tuning in to my Wolverines today as they take on Maryland, and then of course next week we have our huge, huge game against Ohio State. But we know Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and sometimes people start this season where you begin over indulging. You start to eat foods that
maybe you're not really accustomed to eating on a regular basis. Maybe you're you know, going to holiday parties, they have different events going on, maybe at work office parties. You want to make it through this season as successful as possible, not only as far as your immune system, but also weight gain. This is the time where people can really pack on some extra weight.
So we've got you covered there too, because I'll give you some little tips and tools that you can take advantage of, especially during this sale,
when it comes to supporting healthier metabolism. And there's so many factors that we always have to consider when it comes to the holidays, and I oftentimes get the question that comes up is, you know, I'm trying to enjoy the holidays with folks, and maybe I don't want to be eating some of those holiday dishes, but I don't want to be rude, you know, because they spend all this time preparing this. What can I do? So this is when we can turn to products like Phase two, for example, which
is that wonderful car blocker. And we know that Phase two has been studied extensively to show how beneficial it is to actually block those carbohydrates. And as you know here at Invite Health, we are very much rooted in the science and research, and hence this is why Phase two became part of our product
line. Phase two is a registered trademark of white kidney being extract and the way it's been studied is really quite impressive to show not only does it help to impede the absorption of those bad starches, those carbs, but also it can help to promote weight loss, and so you're kind of getting, you know, more bang for your buck when you're using Phase two, because if you go into the holiday season and you're like, listen, I know I'm
gonna probably take two scoops of mashed potatoes, and I know that that's probably not the best thing for my waistline. That's okay, take your Phase two. Take that Phase two before you sit down at the Thanksgiving dinner table, and you can eat away and it will be less problematic when it comes to the way that those sugars are being absorbed into the system. So, as I mentioned, we have a lot of different products that are zeroed in on
weight loss, and Phase two is definitely one of those go twos. What I like about Phase two is it's quick acting. It's not like it's a product where oh, I need to take this for the next month before I start to see the effectiveness, because it's working right there on the spot. So if you take your Phase two capsules before Thanksgiving dinner, you can rest assured that it's going to help to block off all of those different starches that
you are taking in. So it's been one of those formulations that we turn to quite frequently, especially during the holiday season. Now, the clinical studies on this generally show that anywhere between five hundred and fifteen hundred milligrams per day is the amount that you want to be taking. So when we're looking at Thanksgiving, for example, I would at least be taking two capsules of our
Phase two before you sit down for that big holiday meal. We know the efficacy in the safety of Phase two has been shown time and time again. Some of the studies on Phase two have you going upwards of, you know, around three thousand milligrams per day. So basically these are carb lovers who every single meal you perhaps are taking in too many carbohydrates. So taking your
Phase two before each meal is certainly fine as well. If you're not exactly sure how you should be using it, how many capsules you should take before a meal, definitely talk to one of our nutritional experts, because not only will they help guide you in that process, but they're product experts, so they know these products inside out. Remember all of our nutritionists, they've been with us for so many years and they're so passionate about what they do.
And during this holiday season, maybe you're thinking about giving the gift of health to a loved one or to a you know, friend, coworker, and you know that maybe those folks aren't necessarily into dietary supplementation and you want to give them something this holiday season. So talk to one of our nutritionists because we can definitely help you out there as well when it comes to trying to identify which kind of introduction products would be incredibly suitable for someone who is perhaps
a non supplement taker. We have so many great products that we can look to for folks who are maybe new into taking dietary supplements. Of course, our Core multi vitamin is a go to hands down, because that's our comprehensive multi vitamin multimineral complex. Right now during this time year, I always say, maybe turned to the Immunity multivitamin. That's that wonderful formulation that Jerry Hickey formulated, and that's a great product to have right now because it's the Core
multivitamin. So at the backbone you get the Core multivitamin, so you're getting all those bioactive B vitamins, you get your full spectrum nas vitamin E. And I'm telling you that makes such a difference because there's so many companies, unfortunately out there that are still using synthetic vitamin E. And I don't know why. I guess cost savings. I don't I yet to figure out why any company would opt to go with a synthetic vitamin as opposed to using natural.
So in any event, you know, when you're using our multi vitamins, you're getting that natural vitamin E. It's a high absorption, so we know that that's going to work to not only help to hydrate our skin and help with hair growth, but also really beneficial for allowing better cholesterol management because we know one of the things about natural vitamin E is that it's very targeted
as an antioxidant to make sure that your cholesterol doesn't become oxidized. Oxidize cholesterol particles are incredibly dangerous, so we know that natural vitamin E. Interestingly enough, the mechanism of how it's working is not only as a powerful antioxidant, but it's also working as a vehicle to blockade the way that cholesterol is transported. So there's a particular enzyme it's known as hmg CoA reductase. And yeah,
it's a long enzyme. Unless you're, you know, specializing in biochemistry, you may be thinking, why the heck do I need to know this enzyme name. Well, you really don't. But the interesting fun fact about hmg CoA reductase is that is the exact enzyme that statin drugs is working at. Now, anyone that's ever been on a statin or knows someone who's taken a statin drug for cholesterol lowering purposes, No, that those can come with
a whole laundry list of side effects. But yet we know that natural vitamin E does a wonderful job also targeting that same pathway. So when you're taking our daily multivitamin, you get this wonderful exposure to vitamin E. You get the power of those carotenoids to help to support your eyes. Maybe you're gonna do some online shopping at Invite health, you want to make sure that your eyes are protected from that blue light that's emitted from your cell phone or from
your computer. And of course we know that those carotenoids are very beneficial when it comes to our immune system as well as for brain health. And then in this product. You have Elderberry extract along with nucleic acids. So for all of our longtime listeners, you've heard us talk on this radio show, on our podcast talking about the nucleotide complex, that powerful formulation that we offer.
Well, what Jerry Hickey did was he looked at the multivitamins and he said, you know what, what if I put the nucleic acids right into the daily multivitamin And so during cold and flu season, people can be supplementing with the Immunity multivitamin packet and they're getting the power of all those vitamins and minerals to enhance the immune system. Partner it up with Elderberry extract, and certainly we see the science on Elderberry it can shorten the duration of the common
cold of influenza. But if you're taking it every day, it's giving you this added layer of support to allow the immune system to be much more quick acting. In the event that we're at Thanksgiving dinner and somebody's you know, coughing and crouping and you think to yourself, oh goodness, I don't want to get sick in the next couple of days. Well, if you're taking
your immunity multivitamin. Every day your cells, your immune cells are getting this great exposure to all of those key nutrients that help with a quicker, more responsive immune defense system, and that during this time it really matters. Maybe you're going out to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, which I would love to do that I have to mention that I am from Detroit if you're not aware of that, but I'm from Detroit originally, and I think we're having our ninety
seventh year of our America's Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit for Thanksgiving. So it's a big day in Detroit. So you have the parade right downtown and then that's followed up with the Lions and they're playing the Packers this year. So big Thanksgiving for all the Detroiters out there. But it's such a wonderful parade, and so growing up, that's what I was used to watching because you could, you know, either went downtown and watch the parade live in person,
but sometimes it was incredibly cold, or you watched it on TV. So it wasn't until I got older that I was like, oh, there's this Macy's you know, Thanksgiving parade as well. So now I really enjoy watching both. It's very exciting time of year because it's that kickoff to the holidays. But we always have to zero in on our immune system as well as stress. So I'm going to talk about some nutrients that we definitely know can
be helpful. I still want to mention those interesting studies that have come out, but I'm looking at the clock, and the clock is telling me I must take a break, So stick around with me. You are listening to Invite Health Radio. I will be right back. Welcome to the Invite Health Thanksgiving Buy one, Get one sale. Get your holiday season off to a healthy start. Invite Health. We're kicking off the holiday season the right way with a big sale, So stop by one of our store locations, or you can pop onto our website invite health dot com and take advantage of all of those wonderful deals. Now, let's talk about some of these studies that came out in this Every single day I look through different clinical studies and I'm always trying to
identify studies that I think would be interesting to you. There's a lot of studies that are very interesting to me, but they may not be that relevant to your interests. So I like to talk about the key things that will impact your day to day life. And this study just came out and it was in the Nutrients Journal. They were looking at fish oil. Now you hear us talk about omega three fatty acids and the importance of daily supplementation of
omega three on this show. And we have a whole variety of different omega threes that you can select from within our product line. So we have our fish oil, we have our krill Oil Advanced. We have the Inflammune, which is a really good option, especially during cold and flu season. It does a great job with easing inflammation throughout the respiratory track. So especially for those who are maybe prone to chronic bronchitis, Inflammune would probably be the ideal
omega three for you to be supplementing with during cold and flu season. But this study is on fish oil, and they were looking at giving women over the age of sixty five years old two grams or two thousand milligrams of omega threes so that combination of the EPA and DHA each day. And they were doing this in the setting of resistance exercise training, which I've This is why I wanted to talk about the study because I was like, Okay, this
is great. You know, it's a fish oil study not necessarily focused on brain health or on you know, cardiovascular health, blood pressure, So I have an interest in this, so I'm I'm reading through this, and what was fascinating was that they were talking about the importance of staying physically active first and foremost as we get older, because we're always trying to avoid you know, age related muscle mass loss. So they said, well, we know
a few different things about Omega three's number one. They're essential, we have to have them. We know that they helped to regulate our circulatory function each day. We know that they're wonderful for cognitive function. But how are they
going to work in the setting of resistance training. So if we have these women who perhaps are not necessarily accustomed to exercising on a regular basis, and we have them doing these exercises and maybe they're a little sore afterwards, there's you know, influx in inflammatory markers, will the fish whale make an impact in these ladies? And sure enough, across the board they were seeing this,
you know, consistent, steady drop in different markers for inflammation. At the same time they were you know, improvement and blood pressure, seeing improvement in cholesterol triglyphs rides. In particular, fish oil does a wonderful job if you have elevated triglyss rides because of the high amount of total omega three, the total EPA and DHA that's contained in fish oil, it just really it's
like a sledgehammer go into your triglyphs rides. So if you have high triglyss rides, fish oil is probably the choice that you would want to make within our product line. Now, let me just make a statement about our fish oil as well as all of our omega threes. Is the way in which
we source are our formulations. This really matters. And as you know, when Jerry Hicky started Invite Health twenty five years ago, one of his biggest focuses was not only to be able to follow the scientific research and having this full understanding of how these nutrients would be working in the human body and the benefits that they can provide to you, but also is the quality and the potency and going through all of the steps that we take each and every single
day to assure that we are bringing you the highest quality and the cleanest formulations. So when it comes to fish oil, because we know the ocean is just not that clean anymore, and it's a very sad and unfortunate thing. You don't want to be taking fish oil that's all gunked up with heavy metals and other contaminants. So we source our fish oil from the very cold North Atlantic waters, and then we source from very tiny, itty bitty little fish.
And the reason why we do that is because those tiny little fish have a difficult time absorbing all of the contaminants that exist in the ocean. So we source from the cold water, we use these small fish, and then when we're extrapolating out the omega threes, the actual fish oil from those fish, we have it go through what is known as a double distillation process to
remove any any type of contaminant from that fish oil. So when you're using the invite Hell fish oil, you know that you have the cleanest form of Omega threes that you can use. And that makes a difference because what you put into your body, it matters from the foods that you're eating every day to the dietary supplements. And I would love to say that every company takes those same steps and goes to these great lengths that we do, and unfortunately
I cannot say that, And it bothers me. It bothers me A lot because it makes a bad name for the entire industry. You know, it's kind of dealing with Michigan and having a couple of bad apples within the coaching staff there. It just makes a bad name for the entire university. It's the same thing in the world of dietary supplementation and nutraceutical companies. And I know that right now in the news there's a you know, big thing going
on with a particular company. I'm not going to name which one that is, but it's not surprising to me. I will say that, first and foremost, I have had questions about how they have operated for years, and you know, people would come to me and ask me about that particular product from this other company, and I would be incredibly honest about what I thought.
So nonetheless, I am not surprised that they are dealing with the things that they are dealing and they've been shut down because you know, they're not following cGMP. This is something that we pride ourselves in when it comes to contract manufacturing. You have to know what is going on. You have to assure that what is in your bottles is what is in your bottles. If
you are stating something on your labels that needs to be accurate. And you know, I mean I get the reports on every single batch of Invite Health formulations. I know exactly what is in our products. You know, if we have a product where it says it's one hundred milligrams of lthenine for example, well I can get a batch report that comes out that says this contains one hundred and eight milligrams, so it's actually testing above. We will never
accept something that tests below what our label is stating. So quality, potency, all of these things matter, and we take such pride in what we do each and every single day, which is why we've been at this for twenty five years and we continue to you know, push forward because when it comes to wellness, when it comes to health, this is just what we
do. And I think that we do a really good job at this, which is why when people go into an Invite store, it's such a wonderful experience for them because it's not just about you know, you hear me talk about our fish oil or talk about the immunity multi vitamin, you can rest assure you know that the quality and the potency and the science behind those nutrients they're there, but it's the experience that you get working and interacting with our
nutritional experts who can also help you with other factors. You know, maybe you come in and you say, listen, I'm completely stressed out. I have to cook this big Thanksgiving dinner, I'm having relatives over, I'm not really looking forward to that. And that's okay. You can be honest about that, because, as I mentioned, holiday time sometimes it can drive up a lot of stress. So talk to our nutritional team about this, because
we can help you select products that can help minimize your stressload. And when we do that, we're helping to improve our immune defenses. Because it's always amazing that you know, during the holidays, this is when people are more prone to even getting the common cold. And you may think, well,
how the heck did this happen? Well, if you're stressed, your immune system is going to feel the effects of that, which means if the old rhinovirus comes your way, you are more susceptible to the immune system not reacting
in a rapid enough fashion. So hence, if we are taking nutrients like elthenine for example, that I just mentioned, you know, maybe you have to travel maybe you're going to be flying out of JFK or LaGuardia and you're going out for Thanksgiving to relatives, and you know that there's going to be long lines. You know there's going to be disruptions in your travel. You
hope that there's not, but you have to plan ahead. You know that traveling is not always a smooth process, but you can make it easier on yourself. You can do the right things when you're traveling. You can make sure that you're staying hydrated, making sure that your cells are good and fueled up. You can use nutrients like althenine that give you that nice sense of calm because remember what althenine's doing is it's helping the body with the natural release
of gabba, and gabba is you're calming neurotransmitter. So if you're standing in that security line coming up this week, getting ready to fly out to wherever your final destination may be, take some althenine, Take that probiotic HX with you. Make sure that you're taking your packets of immunity multi vitamin green TTX.
Folks, we know that that's such a powerful formulation. So the green TTX that's our liquid tincture of green tea caatekins and it does a wonderful job at not only the sporting the immune system, but is another mechanism that we can use each day to lessen inflammation, because we know that inflammation in the
body is not ideal. Chronic low grade inflammation is a big issue. And speaking of inflammation, there is a new study that just came out and this always I say this kind of with a little bit of a sense of humor because many years ago I worked alongside a GI doctor, so he was specialized in gastro entrology, and the two of us would just banter back and forth all the time because he thought what I was doing was ridiculous, you know. Oh nutrition was like, that's that's crazy. What do you mean eating
healthy? And I'm like, well, you're a GI doctor, you should know that everything, all of that inflammation in the body, if you have someone who has arthritis, that inflammation is driving from the gut. So we
would go back and forth. But nonetheless, there's a brand new set of guidelines that just came out from the American gastro Entrology Association, which to me, I would love to go back and connect with this doctor and say, what do you think about the new guidelines that your team has come out with Because it's focused on inflammation. Isn't that an interesting little fun fact? So I want to tell you about what they feel that they should be zeroing in
on when it comes to GI inflammation. Which tests they are recommending that doctors be testing for individuals who have irritable bowel disease, all stratific clitis, Crohn's disease. I want to tell you about this particular study and their findings and their new guidelines, but I do need to squeeze in a quick break, so stick around with me. You are listening to Invite Health Radio. I will be right back. Welcome to the Invite Health Thanksgiving Buy one, Get

Or go to invite health dot com and welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams, Scientific director at Invite Health. Happy Saturday morning to everyone. It is the Saturday before the kickoff to the holidays, so we've got Thanksgiving literally right around the corner. It's amazing. I feel like I was just on air talking about fourth of July and it's just it's
amazing how time just clips on by. But we want to make sure that we are taking care of our health along the way we say we want. Our goal is to age gracefully. We can't stop the time we're going to get older, but it doesn't have to be a negative thing. We can age in a very successful way if we just make a few small lifestyle modifications
adherence to a Mediterranean diet. Another study just came out talking about the link to the Mediterranean style way of eating and improvement in cognitive function, which is not a far fetch because we know those good healthy fats, those antioxidants help to lessen neuro inflammation, help to maintain your brain volume. You don't want your brain shrinking. It's not a goal. It's one thing. If you want your you know, if you have a muffin top, if you have
a belly, you want that to shrink down. Okay, I get that, But we don't want our brain to shrink. This is the one area. No. We want to maintain a nice, big, full brain. So back to this study, it's not even necessarily a study as it is so much them reporting on their findings to all of their years of data and their new guidelines. So this is to me kind of a no brainer.
But I'm just happy that the American gastro Entrology Association is now looking at markers for inflammation and they are recommending that all GI doctors now start to assess C reactive protein levels. Yes, folks, you've heard us talk about CRP on this radio show for years. Now, why does CRP matter, that's c reactive protein. Why do we want to look at CRP because it's going to
give us an idea of the level of systemic inflammation that's occurring. And this, to me is kind of a breakthrough in the world of GI doctors starting to understand that, yes, the gut is the primary driver for all inflammation because remember, seventy percent at least of your immune system is located in the gut, and through those immune cells is where that release of different things like inflammatory cyto kinds, for example, are released. So looking at CRP is
now their new guideline. They said, oh, we should be looking at CRP levels every six to twelve months in all of our patients who present with any type of inflammatory bowel disease. So we are talking about Crohn's disease, we're talking about alsterrative colitis, and we know that the number of Americans who have this particular condition is incredibly large IBS. So just irrible bowel syndrome in general is estimated to affect upwards of close to fifty million Americans. It's kind
of the same numbers as you see with arthritis. So inflammation is a problem, and we can try to determine, Okay, well, what's the causative reason why are so many people dealing with such high rates of inflammation within the gut. Well, we don't have to look too far other than look at the foods and say, oh, yeah, those ultra processed foods, that's probably driving most of this. Yeah, that is exactly what is the causative
issue. And then we look at the other factors. We look at sedentary lifestyle, we look at high stress, so all of these factors that lead to chronic inflammation. So maybe it's occurring within your knee, but it can be occurring in your gut as well. But we know that there's so many different nutrients that we can turn to. Whenever I'm working with someone who has a history of irritable bowel, one of the nutrients that I turn to quite
frequently is our ris vitrol max. And the reason why is because the resveratrol itself, trans rasveratrol, we know is very effective at targeting those inflammatory cytokines that drive up your ce reactive protein levels. So if we're supplementing with risveratrol. This is going to help lessen the inflammatory load, so we're easing inflammation. That's key, but we also know it's not just limited to se reactive protein. A really fascinating study was conducted close to a decade ago looking at
the anti inflammatory effects of ri resveratrol in patients who have alsterrative colitis. This was a randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial. This was published in
the Archives of Medical Research Journal back in twenty fifteen. They wanted to see if they gave patients who have alstrative colitis, if they can them as virtual would this help, and not just help in terms of lowering inflammation, but would this improve the quality of life Because if you ever talk to someone who has al certific clitis, Crohn's disease, any degree of IBD, it's incredibly
in a sense disabling to their day to day functions. And once you start to have a condition that's affecting your overall quality of life, that is an issue because it's going to affect not just the physical aspect, but really it has an impact on your emotional wellbeing. So we know that there are definitely studies out there that show that mindfulness techniques can be very helpful for folks who are dealing with chronic inflammation conditions, chronic pain, and of course you know
runs that gamut of inflammatory biwel disease. So this particular study, the way that they designed it is they took a group of individuals who had been diagnosed and had active ultratific colitis, so they were experiencing symptoms of having it inflamed colon, and they gave them resveratrol. Half of the group was given a placebo. They looked at serum inflammatory markers, including NF cappa beta, so
NF cap of beta is one of the major drivers for inflammation. And through looking at these different biomarkers for inflammation and then giving half of the group of placebo half of the group taking risveratrol, they could see the shift. They
could start to see the improvement. And what was even more promising about this clinical study was not only after six weeks, just six weeks, so you're talking individuals for years have been dealing with this, have been put on very powerful medications from their doctor and you know, no results, if anything, you know, creating additional side effects. And they gave these individuals who have been struggling with alstrative kalitis risveratrol five hundred milligrams for six weeks, and what
they found was a significant drop in all of those markers for inflammation. So hence this means the colon itself was starting to repair and their functional status, their outlook, they're perceived well being improved exponentially over the placebo group. So risveratrol max is the one that I turned to. Are resvere tril max is incredibly high. I would say that I have not found any other risveratrol formulation in any company on the market that has the amount of trans rasveratrol that our
risveratril max provides. You now remember the risveratrol max is also partnered up with the OPC's those oleome proanthocynodins that come from grape seed extract along with corsetin. So now, if we really start to peel back the layers and we say, okay, well, let's just say I am dealing with some type of irritable bowel syndrome, we know that the toxic burden within the gut is going to be much higher, which means anything that we come into contact with,
whether it's food based. You know, chemicals that are in ultra processed foods, pesticides, or anything that we are breathing in. For example, air pollution is going to to worsen the inflammation occurring within the gut. So if we're taking corsetin, we know that corsetin is incredibly effective at targeting and binding on to different toxins and pesticides. So taking resveratrol max you get the power of all of these different nutrients. You're getting the trans risveratrol, you get
the grape seed extract, so we're getting support for vascular flow. We get the corsetin to target the toxic build up and sludge. And also remember that quersten's excellent when it comes to histamine regulation, and there are a lot of individuals. We don't test for this here in the US. They do a lot of testing in the UK for histamine intolerance. There are a lot of individuals who struggle with histamine intolerance and have no idea what it is because they're
never going to be tested for that. Many foods have high amounts of naturally occurring histamine, in that there are different types of histamine. Usually when people hear the word histamine. You just think about you know, seasonal allergies and what drives up you. You know, the reasons for you sneezing and coughing, and that is histamine, and so hence people want to take an anti histamine. But what we know is that foods themselves can be a source of
histamine. So if the body is struggling for proper breakdown or degradation of histamine, this can start to create significant issues. So it can come in the form of GI inflammation, it can come in the form of maybe you you know, after you eat, you feel like a slight sense of itchiness, perhaps on your skin. There's a lot of different ways that histamine intolerance can
present itself. So taking risveratrol max is another really nice way to target that particular concern because we're getting the corset in which we know helps with the autoregulation of histamine, and then we have our OPCs from the grape seed extract that helped to you know, target free radicals within the gut and throughout the entire body. And then you get your transras veratral, which we know is very specific at easing inflammation. So it's kind of a win win win when you're
using risveratrol max. And the scientific research on trans resveratrol at this point in time is so expansive. You know, Initially when people first started to look at risveratrol, it was very much in the setting of anti aging and if that's why you're using our risveratrol max HAX formulation, by all means keep doing that. But we now know, you know, as if we're two three decades in to really understanding the full functionality of risveratrol, we can now see
how impactful it is to every single system in the body. So when you think about your immune system and the support that it can provide within the intestines of course, for brain health, for blood sugar regulation, it's just it's so incredibly impressive. And of course, at the same time we have the activation of surtuin, so we have that anti aging component that we've known for
years and years and years. But to now understand functionally all of the multiple benefits that go along with risveratrol is what makes our risveratrill max formulation really out of this world. And you've probably heard Jerry Hicky talk about how he uses rosveratroll taking it at night. He always says, it kind of works as a little housekeeper goes in and clears out the cobwebs and the crud in the brain, and we know it's very effective at doing that. It targets that
neuroinflammation and any oxidative stress. And throughout the day you wake up and you know, you go about your normal day, but stress can build up in the brain, and so we want to have a mechanism to be able to clean that up. And so taking resvertral in the evening, maybe with your dinner, is a really good way to get the power of all of those antioxidants into the system to help with the brain scrubbing, we'll just call it.
And of course we can take the memory multivitamin as well. The memory multi vitamin is an excellent choice for anyone who feels like they've got brain fog. If you feel like, yeah, you know, you just don't have that focus and attention that you would like to have. During the holidays, in particular, you know, sometimes you get overly stressed out trying to check
off everything on your holiday shopping list, and it can be stressful. The memory multivitamin is a really good one to turn to so it's always difficult to say which one of our multis is going to be best suited for your specific needs, which is why it's important to go in and talk to one of our nutritionists so they can help give you that guidance. So I do need to squeeze in a quick break. Stick around with me. You are listening to Invite Health Radio. I will be right back. Welcome to the Invite

Let's talking about our multivitamins. The memory multivitamin. How excellent that is if you feel like you have brain fog, if you just don't feel as sharp. Remember that's the core multivitamin. And then that's partnered up with Ginko beloba to really help to enhance proper blood flow and oxygenation to
the brain. We also know that gain who does a great job at fighting off free radicals. You get a lot of antioxidants that go along with Ginko biloba and then it has lithium in it. Lithium we don't get enough just from diet alone. And one of the things that we know lithium is very effective at doing is to help with the clearing once again of any type of
neurotoxins that build up. So having a multi vitamin that provides you all of these wonderful nutrients is a great way to really get that you know, that focus, that sharpness, and just feel feel like yourself And maybe right now yourself is feeling a little stressed out, so we can help you with that.
I had mentioned the Althianine formulation. That is definitely one of those products that I always say we should all make sure that we have a bottle of elthenine at the ready, because you never know what your day throws at you and what can drive up your stress, and taking elthenine just gives you that nice sense of calm. It's helping to allow that gabba to be released. Now. Maybe on the other hand, you feel like you're dragging and you
have no energy. My go to always is going to be Roadiola. It's just it's my favorite. I have a lot of favorites in our product line, but I love Rodeola extract because it works so quickly. I talked about the phase two, the white kidnepping extract earlier, So if you're going to be carving it up during the holidays, take your phase two and that also
works really quickly. You don't have to build up a steady state, for example, but Rodeola is definitely a go to because rodeola it's an adrenal adaptogenic herb, so it's working to modulate the body's response to stress. And in doing so, not only is it helping with the regulation of cortisol, it's
also encouraging the inner part of all of your cells to make energy. And so if you feel like you're yeah, you wake up in the morning and you're like, oh goodness, you know it's another gray, cold, dreary day, get yourself some rodeola. It can do so much when it comes to giving you a non stimulant, which is important. So it's not gonna make you feel jittery, but it gives you this nice sense of just energy.
And I have a lot of folks who will use this maybe mid afternoon, and it's in the afternoon that they feel like their energy stores are starting to plummet a wee bit, so they will take the rodeola extra. My
mom, she's been using rodeola for years. She loves her rodeola. And it's funny because I now can recognize when she's taking her rodeola, but it's she used to do a lot of different things just in and she's scaled back quite a bit now, but she would she would start to feel the drag, like in the afternoon, and she was like, oh, you know, this is just because I'm getting old. And I was like, no, no, no, this is not the case. Uh, we just
need a little extra sell energy push mom. So I had her start taking Rodeola and she called me and she was like, you know, this is amazing, but I took just one capsule and I just I feel so good. And so she's been using Rodeola for years and it's it's always comical to me because I'll walk in and if she's doing something in the house, I'm like, are you on your Rodeola today, and she's like, yes,
I am so. But it does it's such a wonderful formulation, and even though it's for you know, daily cellular energy, it can actually help to improve your sleep quality, which is really fascinating in and of itself. That was one of those secondary benefits that they found on Rodeola when they were studying the use of Rodeola extract in individuals who had cried fatigue, and for individuals with chronic fatigue, oftentimes they're classically tired and wired at the same time,
so they just feel complete emotional and physical exhaustion. But yet they still have like this this antsy feeling to them. So they said, well, let's
give them Rodeola extract. And then the study it was three hundred and fifty milligrams of rodeola that they were taking each day, and they found that just in ten days of these folks taking Rodeola extract, not only did it help to improve their energy levels during the day, but they were finding that just in ten days, they were like, you know what, I'm actually able to sleep better. So if you can sleep, you're going to be able to rest, repair, recover, you wake up in the morning and feel
better. So rodiola to me is kind of a hands down easy go to nutrient if you are feeling a little bit of that drag. Remember our performance multivitamin that also contains Rodeola extract in it. So I always say the performance multivitamin is not just for folks who are, you know, athletic and going and working out. The performance multivitamin to me is for anyone who has a
low energy state. So if you have a blood sugar issue, if you're a diabetic, if you're a pre diabetic, if you have any underlying you know, heart issues, you know hypertension, cast a heart failure, or anything along that line, the Performance multivitamin is definitely the go to that's partnered up with SOD superoxide dismutase. We know that that's incredibly important for maintaining your
blood vessel linings. SOD is a natural antioxidant as we get older, if that level starts to off too much, or if the body's under stress. Remember anytime we have stress, it's going to lower our natural antioxidant defenses and it also lowers our immune defenses. So if we have less SOD, we know that this is directly linked to corotid artery stenosis, so it can actually
make your carotid artery become more narrow. So if we don't have enough SOD, we can get narrowing of the croted, which means we get less blood flow and oxygen up to the brain. Not a good thing. So taking the Performance multivitamin, you can now see how it's gonna help with generating energy for you each day, but it's also giving you a significant amount of circulatory support. And then of course it's partnered up with those activated b vitamins,
your natural vitamin E, your carotenoids, the citrus bioflavonoid complex. So our multivitamins are so incredibly complete, and trying to figure out once again which one
should you be taking is really dependent on what your health goals are. Are you, you know, currently dealing with a particular health condition, are you on different medications, So having a conversation with one of our nutritional experts is really the best way for you to be able to select which multi And I always say there's no problem, especially during one of our big sales like we're having right now for Thanksgiving, there is no issue with rotating your multivitamins.
So one day you take your performance multivitamin and the next day you take your immunity multivitamin, and so then we start to build up this really lovely steady state of these nutrients, so we get very comprehensive support for daily energy production, for enhancing our immune defenses, so across the board, so many wonderful formulations. You know, during the holidays, I always think about the reds HX and our greens ACHEX because it just kind of reminds me of Christmas time.
But those are wonderful formulations as well to incorporate in during this time of year, because not only are they packed with close to forty fruit and vegetable extracts, but they also both of those products contain a wonderful probiotic blend. So another way once again to enhance our immune defenses, getting those good, healthy bacteria into the intestines to promote a healthier microbial environment to improve upon a
quicker, more responsive immune defense system. So check out the reds HX, check out the greens achex of course for as Veritrol max all of our multi vitamins. If you happen to have questions for me, by all means reach out to me. Best way to get me is to email me a Williams at invitehealth dot com. That's a Williams at invitehealth dot com.
