Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams, Scientific director at Invite Health, and I have so many things that I want to cover with you today when it comes to nutrition and wellness. We are your source and have been for over twenty five years and will continue to do so. We have so many new products that we have launched in the past really six months, including our new gummies. We have the brand new probiotic Immune. The probiotic HX is back in stock,
so that's very very exciting. And I'm going to talk about the microbiome today in some detail because we do have such an extensive line of probiotics and we get a lot of questions about this because oftentimes people aren't sure as to which one of our probiotics they should be utilizing, So you know, can you partner up the
probiotic weight along with the probiotic HX. I'm going to get into really what is the microbiome, why is it so important, and how it is that these different supplements that we offer can be so incredibly beneficial when it comes to the health of your gut. And that's really very important because if we ignore our gut, we are basically leaving the door open for so many issues that can arise, and we definitely don't want to do that.
So when you're looking at the microbiome, we have to understand that this is definitely far beyond that of just the intestines, and how much of an interaction our microbiome is actually having with every single system. That's why there's been such an emphasis on the gut brain connection, and if you're dealing with problems such as low mood or anxiety, how your gut can be driving a substantial amount of those symptoms that you're actually feeling. So we'll get into
all of that because I find it highly interesting. I remember many years ago I went to a conference for the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine, and I just found it so number one educational, but number two just so enlightening that these research have been really delving into the importance of the microbiome and those healthy bacteria. And now we're at a point where we can actually identify single strains of bacteria that can either be helpful or hurtful.
And so when you, you know, look back and think about the word bacteria, usually we are thinking in that setting of something that's going to get you sick, you know, if you think about getting a bacterial infection. But we know that every single day we walk around with a couple of pounds. I know that that gives some folks the creeps, but we walk around every single day with a couple of pounds of bacteria. Now the goal is is that the couple of pounds of bacteria that we're
carrying around with us are of the healthy variety. We don't want to be walking around with, you know, a half a pound of bad bacteria. So this is why supplementation with a comprehensive probiotic can be so incredibly helpful, because it helps to chase the bad bacteria out and it allows for kind of a recolonization of the good, healthy bacteria to start to take over once again. And that's what we want because that's what regulates all of
our systems. So going back to when that I was at this conference and they were presenting all of their different findings, and I was so fascinated to sit there and think about that and go, gosh, you know, all the years that I spent in medical school and learning about bacteria, I never learned about good bacteria. I only ever learned about bad bacterias. I mean, most people have heard of MRSA for example, and that's where my brain always went to. And I understand that that's where many
folks brains go to. And you'd hear, you know a little bit about oh well, yeah, if you eat yogurt that can maybe be beneficial for gut health. But then there was always a concern if someone had a sensitivity to dairy. So now we have really expanded when it comes to our full foundational understanding of the microbiome, and we continue to learn about these little bacteria and how they are really working on our behalf to keep us healthy.
And to me, there's no time of year that's more important than as we are transitioning out of the summer and into the fall, because this is when we start to get that uptick of more of the viruses that become more prevalent during this time of year. There's a couple of different reasons as to why that is. You know, we can look at temperature changes that you know, a allow for different viruses to thrive, have more sustainability, I guess,
one could say. But we also look at you know, being in environments where perhaps we are in more close quarters, one can say, and this is why oftentimes when kids go back to school, you'll see an uptick in viral infections, and so that it all starts to make sense when we look at how our immune system is responding. But we have to really zero in and be proactive at this time of year because we don't want to, you know, get to Halloween time and say, okay, you know, I've
already had two different colds. We want to make sure that our immune system is at the ready that our immune system is not going to be feeling the effects of that uptick in viral load that is definitely going to be circulating in the environment. So to me, the
microbiome is incredibly fascinating. We get an awful lot of questions from folks when it comes to probiotic and you know, maybe you've read an article somewhere you heard someone talking about probiotics, and then they'll say, well, what's the difference between a prebiotic and a probiotic or even a post biotic for that matter. Well, at the end of the day, if you're looking at a prebiotic, this is going to be This is why fibers so darn important in your diet,
because this is a wonderful source of a prebiotic. And what the prebiotic is actually doing is it's priming the intestinal environment for the introduction of those new healthy bacteria so that they can enter in and really do the action that we need them to do. So, if we have a diet that is high in fruits and vegetables, as just an example, where we know are our fiber content, the fiber intake is going to be much greater, then
this is a wonderful thing. But we also recognize that the average American is certainly not getting anywhere close to the amount of fiber that they should be getting each and every single day. So with that in mind, this is why we have our brand new fiber gummy as an example, because it's a wonderful way for us to encourage that fiber intake, and it's also working as a prebiotic, so it allows those healthy bacteria to have that natural environment so they can do the work we need them
to do. So when you're looking at the probiotic HX as an example, this contains a prebiotic already put into this formulation, so we're giving you the coverage on multiple fronts here. Not only are you getting a comprehen dehensive probiotic with multiple strains, and that's always important because if you are trying to take a probiotic for your immune system to fight off inflammation because you have arthritis, for example, you definitely don't want to just be using a single
strain probiotic. The reason why is because our microbiome is incredibly diverse, so we have many different types of natural bacteria that are residing there. So when we are supplementing with a probiotic, we definitely want that diversity within that
capsule as well. So this is why our probiotic HX is such a powerhouse because you're getting five different strains of healthy bacteria along with that prebiotic and all of this at the end of the day really makes such a difference because anytime we have gut dysbiosis or an imbalance that's occurring within our microbiome, this can lead to significant shifts in our health. And it may not be in the setting that you are actually thinking of. It
may not be that you're experiencing digestive health issues. And oftentimes when people think about gut health, that's right where your mind goes. You think, oh, well, maybe I have constipation, or I have diarrhea, or I have you know, bloating, or I have excess gas. But we know that the diversity of our microbiome can create problems and imbalances in so many different systems, as I had previously mentioned, even when it comes to our brain health and our mood.
So we don't want to ever travel down that road where we are experiencing a shift in our balance when it comes to brain health, or create a problem where where our body is struggling to detoxify because we don't have adequate healthy bacteria. So we have trillions of living organisms that reside in and on the human body, and we know that within the gut itself, so just within the intestines, we're looking at one hundred trillion different microorganisms.
And if we have, as I mentioned, if you're walking around with a half a pound of unfriendly micro organisms, this can lead to that imbalance. And perhaps it does present in that setting of gi discomfort or gas or bloating, but it could also lead to problems such as hypertension, anxiety, problems with focus, problems with attention. We can certainly look at issues when it comes to seasonal allergies, and we know if we have an imbalance that's occurring with then
the microbiome. This is a driving force for problems such as allergic rhinitis. You walk outside, there's a pollen that's you know, blooming or blowing around in the air, and if we have a weakened microbiome, well then it's that open opportunity. Once again, it's similar to you know how viruses like to come in and you know, set up shop in the human body. So we always want to
make sure that our microbiome is incredibly balanced. And most folks will say, well, how in the world do I know how do I know if my microbiome is actually balanced. You're not going out and testing your microbiome. You're not going out and doing a stool analysis as an example, or doing some more advanced testing. But what you can basically look at are the common sense things. Look at your diet. You know, is your diet lacking the prebiotic fibers.
Now do we know that because of our low intake of fruits and vegetables or seeds and nuts, for example, that the likelihood of butyrate production. But rate's very important because bute rate is working as a natural anti inflammatory. So if our diet's lacking in fiber, and most folks can probably kind of take a look of reflection at what you eat every day and say, yeah, you know what, I probably don't get enough fiber. So this is probably speaking to the fact that I do have some gut dyspiosis.
Maybe I don't have the GI problems, but I do have some aches and pains on a regular basis. I do kind of feel a little lethargic from time to time. I do have a bit of anxiety or low mood. Then yes, I probably do have some degree of gut dys biosis. So it would be incredibly advantageous for me to stop by Invite Health and get that probiotic. A Jackson starts supplementing with that every day, so that we're continuously putting these good, healthy bacteria back into our system.
We always want to be able to zero in on this, and we have to be able to recognize that that dysbiosis, that imbalance of bacteria can lead to all of these different problems. And I think this, to me is the most promising thing is that you are now getting major research institutes that are recognizing this, that are saying, oh, my goodness, we never knew that because someone has a high abundance of a particular type of bacteria, this could
be why they are struggling to lose weight. Because they have a high abundance of a particular bacteria, this is why they are having treatment resistant depression. And so to me, that's a very promising thing. But at Invite Health we have recognized for many years the importance of that microbial balance.
So I'm going to break down the different probiotics that we offer at invites so that you have a good understanding as to how you can incorporate these into a daily supplementation routine and what you can expect when you are using these different formulations. But I'm looking at the clock and I do need to squeeze in a quick break, so stick around with me. I will be right back just after this. I am doctor Amanda Williams talking about probiotics today. We have so many probiotics that we offer at Invite Health and they all have their own specific science behind them and purpose for why you may want to use them. So starting off with our probiotic as this is our most comprehensive probiotic that we offer. It's our strongest, most
potent blend. It has those five different strains of healthy bacteria along with that probiotic, so it's priming the intestines so that those healthy bacteria can get in and start to do their work. And this is a wonderful probiotic for anyone who's looking for just that complete coverage. Maybe you do deal with seasonal allergies, maybe you do have a significant amount of arthritis pain. A lot of times people don't think about a probiotic when it comes to
joint inflammation. I'm telling you, when you look at the action of these bacteria that are contained in the probiotic HX, the wonderful powerful strains that we utilize, this can make such a difference when it comes to regulating the immune system's inflammatory response. So maybe you are used to getting up every day and you've got knee pain or you got back pain, and you're taking your ibuprofen every day, and you think to yourself, well, this probably isn't the
healthiest that I'm eating ibuprofen like they're candy. But what else can I do? What else can you do? Is we look at your diet. We go with an anti inflammatory diet AKA and Mediterranean style way of eating, and we add in that probiotic CHUX with the clinical research backing of those particular strains that we use in that formulation. It's such a great, complete daily probiotic. Now how should you use it? It really depends from one person to
the next. I would say a general rule of thumb, one capsule a day is sufficient for the average person. Should you take it with food or without food doesn't necessarily matter the way in which we manufacture and put
those healthy bacteria into the capsule. It allows the viability, allows those bacteria to thrive, and so we don't have to have any type of a concern or a worry that, oh, if I take it with food, it's going to somehow break down, or if I take it on an empty stomach, it's going to break down because it's not going to be affected by those stomach acids. It's actually going to make its way into the intestines where we need it to go. We need those bacteria to actually make their
way into the intestines. So probiotic HX that's going to be the primary probiotic when we're looking at all of our different formulations, and then we say, well, what if I have issues with recurrent urinary tract actions, whether I'm a man or a woman. And this is an important takeaway because we have the probiotic Women formulation. So obviously by the name, people think, wow, this is only for women. No, not the case, because it has four healthy strains of
lacto bacilli. It is the predominant lacto bicilli strains that we find in the female urinary tract. But also it's the same strains of healthy bacteria that men have. So if you have prostatitis as a male, if you are dealing with any type of urinary issues as a male, you can use the probiotic Women formulation. Now for women, this is really great if you do have a history of chronic UTIs, and we know that this is more prevalent in women than it is men, and this is
just because of anatomy. But we also recognize that there can be imbalances that can be driven up because of dietary changes, because of having to be put on an antibiotic for an example, where women can become more prone to having a yeast infection. So with that in mind, not only do these four different strains of lactobacilli work their magic to help to create this balance once again, but this also has garlic and time extract in it.
And when formulating this product, we recognized that we not only wanted to incorporate in the power of those healthy bacteria, we also wanted to enhance that to a whole other level through the action of garlic and time. Because the scientific research both garlic and time when it comes to targeting issues such as candida infections, so a yeast infection, or dealing with bacterial vaginosis, which is a very common
bacterial infection that women can experience. So we know from the science that if we take garlic and time, especially if we're taking them together along with these healthy strains of bacteria, those healthy lactobacilli, we can make leaps and bones when it comes to creating this balance once again, now this is also very important for men because once again, say you're a male, you're dealing with prostatitis or recurrent urinary tract infection, and you say, well, what should I
be doing? Well, we can look at the probiotic women and we can say, well, a male can also benefit from the poor in the action of garlic extract, because we know that this does a wonderful thing when it comes to prostate health. The garlic extract is working to uh significantly lessen the level of inflammation that occurs within
the prostate itself. So for men, based on anatomy, when we have inflammation that's occurring within the urinary tract coming and being driven from the prostate, we want to be able to go to the source and the source of that inflammation is coming from the prostate. So using the probiotic women, which contains that garlic extract, gives us that upper hand. So very wonderful formulation for both men and women. How do we use this once again, it's going to
really depend are we dealing with an acute situation. Do we currently have a yeast infection, Are we currently dealing with a urinary track infection, or bacterial vagenosis or prostatitis. In those situations, you're gonna want to talk to one of our nutritional experts so that they can give you the best advice as to how to use this product. Should you be taking it one capsule twice a day? Do you take two capsules at the same time. It's
gonna vary from one person to the next. Now, just for general utilization, just to have a healthy urinary tract, one capsule a day is certainly fine. Can you take this alongside of the probiotic HX, Yes, one hundred percent, you can use both. You're not gonna somehow get too much exposure to healthy bacteria. Remember, we've got trillions of micro organisms, and we want to always make sure that
we're putting those good guys back into the system. So it's not like we're gonna get an overdose of healthy bacteria. So this is why if we partner up probiotic HAX along with robotic Women, we have a really powerful combination or real power duo there. Now we also have our probiotic weight Now this one's really fascinating because when Jerry Hickey was formulating this particular product, there was a lot of emphasis on the particular strain of bacteria known as
biffido bactrum breve B three. Now that's a whole mouthful, I get it. You know, is that going to be your word of the day. Perhaps, maybe you know, make it a fun thing as you're out talking to folks, be like, well, you know, I'm making sure I have enough of my biffido bactrum breve B three on board.
Why does that matter? Well, because looking at the science of biffido bactrum breve B three, we can see clearly that in individuals who are of a healthy weight, so normal weight individuals, not folks who are coming in with BMIs that are in the overweight or obese category, they have a high abundance of biffido bactrum BREVEB three. Now, on the other hand, if we have someone who is overweight or obese, biffidobactrum BREVEB three is non existent in
their gut. You cannot detect the biffidobactrum breve B three. It's just not there. So that tells us something that tells us that the biffidobactrum BREVEB three is doing something to auto regulate metabolism to work within the body to help us support natural thermogenesis. The natural fat burning that occurs making those white fat cells act more like brown
fat cells. Brown fat cells is you know, you have a baby and they have the little baby fat, but then that starts to burn away, right, So but the reason why they have those little fat roles is because of the brown fat. Now that's a very active fat. Now as adults, yeah, most people would say, give me more brown fat. This is great because it has this natural fat burning. But this is what we know about biffido bactrum BREVEB three that's in the probotic weight formulation
is that this actually activates that pathway once again. And the clinical research studies done with biffidobactrum BREVEB three when they give this strain of bacteria to individuals who are struggling with weight, who have been overweight and they start to supplement with this strain of bacteria and that bacteria starts to build up, that they have a much better
likelihood that they're going to start to lose weight. So this is why this particular formulation exists in our product line now that's partnered up with something known as berguson FF. Burguson FF is a part bartnering of artichoke extract along
with Bergamont. Once again, the clinical studies on this combination of art to choke and bergamont was really zeroing in on liver health and fatty liver disease, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, which we know is a clear and present problem globally but in particular here in the United States, and we can look at diet as being the predominant reason why we have such an increase in non alcoholic
fatty liver disease. So researchers started to look at the combination of both artichoke extract along with the bergamont and they could see how this was helping to stabilize proper liver transport of cholesterol and lessen the impact of the burden that our main detoxifying organ in the body is succumbing to every day. So they said, well, this is a wonderful thing. You know, people can start to supplement with this artichoke extract. It's improving their triglyceride levels, their
total cholesterol levels coming down. That bergamont is working as a powerful antioxidant to fight off ox stative stress and damage that can occur within the liver cells. But then they they found a secondary side effect and this was I we'll call it side benefit. Instead of a side effect, it's a side benefit. It was a plus. They were like, wow, you know, not only did these people's cholesterol improve from taking the artichoke and the bergamont, but they're actually losing weight.
So we can look at why that's happening. You know, it is because of the proper function now that's occurring within the liver. The liver has the ability now to properly detoxify our system each and every single day. So if we put that Bergamont extract along with the artichoke, put that with the biffidobactrum BREVEB three, we have a wonder probiotic that is now really targeting a great way for us to maintain healthy metabolism, support detoxification and the benefit.
For why most people want to take this formulation is because you're trying to lose weight. So that's the probiotic weight formulation. So I have one more that I want to talk about. Then I'm going to shift focus over to some joint health formulations that we offer up. But I do need to to squeeze in a quick break, so stick around with me. I will be right back just after this. welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams talking about our pro biotics. We have many, so we have the probiotic weight. Just talk about that as the registered trademark form of burgison ff in that that is the combination of that Bergamont fruit extract along with art to choke. The science on that really impressive. The way in which if you're looking at elevated liver enzymes,
that's never a good thing. This is the risk that comes with taking certain medications Staton drugs as an example. That's why if you get put on a stat in your doctor's like, well you need to come in and we need to test your liver blood levels. Yeah, because it's so taxing, it's so wearing on the liver, so it can make the enzyme levels start to go up, which is showing it. It's a clear sign of stress.
It's a stressed out liver. That's not a good thing because a stressed out liver means we have less of a capacity to be able to detoxify. Each day, I get asked about detoxification on a regular basis because somehow in our world, we seem to think that detox is a crash course, where the opposite is actually true. Metabolic detoxification happens each and every single day in the body, and it's heavily reliant on many different nutrients including vitamins
and minerals and antioxidants in the body. So if we are not getting the right foods with high enough antioxidant exposure, high enough vitamin and mineral exposure, the liver starts to struggle and in that case, we start to create this in balance once again between the gut and the liver. So now we have this disconnect that's occurring. We have a struggling liver and no wonder why we feel the way that we feel. So we take our probiotic weight. You know that that's very very much so a liver
targeted probiotic. And then we have our probiotic immune formulation. Now this is our latest probiotic into the product line. It is a multi strain probiotic, not as powerful as probiotic HX, but still a multi strain which is key. But we also know that we need to have zinc and we need to have vitamin D when it comes to immune defenses. Understanding that ninety percent of Americans do not get adequate amounts of vitamin D in their diet, and roughly at least fifty percent of Americans don't get
adequate zinc exposure each day. So if our immune system is really relying, you know, leaning heavily on the action of both zinc and vitamin D, then it makes a lot of sense to take a probiotic that includes SO. So it's already incorporated right into that. You know, there's always the concern, you know, can I get too much of something? Can I get too much Vitamin D? Can I get too much zinc? It's very difficult to get ever to get to toxic levels of vitamin D. I
will put that out there. For all of the many years I have been doing this, I have can count on one hand people who have actually had too high of vitamin D. It's very difficult for the body to get to those toxic levels. This but keep this in mind, this is why you want to have your vitamin D levels tested on a regular basis. So and same thing with with zinc. When you are using say the core multi vitamin from Invite Health that has zinc in it can I also then take the probiotic Immune that has
zinc yes, and the Core multivitamin also contains copper. And the concern is if you have too high of zinc that's occurring in the body, which once gotten difficult to do. But if you do have too high of a zinc level because of let's just say excessive supplementation, the way that we combat that is through taking copper. So they offset each other. So if you're taking the Core multivitamin and the Performance the men's the women, you're covered so
you don't have any issues. But this is an excellent probiotic to include in during coal and flu season. You can take this in addition to taking the probiotic HX. That is completely fine. I have some folks who are like, well, maybe I'll just take probiotic Immune and not take proadic HX. Depending on what your situation is, that may also be completely acceptable. But you always want to talk to one of our nutritioness. That's always the best way to determine,
you know, am I doing the right things? You know? Am I taking the right supplement for my specific needs? So Greens, I want to shift focus a little bit, and the reason I want to talk about the greens h ex. This is a powdered formulation, very comprehensive fruit and vegetable extracts in this herbal blend has a powerful probiotic blend in this. The reason why this is kind of fascinating is because it has the probiotic in it and it's a powder, which means we're going to be
adding it into a liquid and drinking that. That gives an opportunity for those healthy bacteria to hit the mouth. Right. Why does this matter, Well, there was a recent study and we know that there's a direct correlation between an imbalance of oral bacteria and things like periodontal disease gingivitis. But we also know that an unhealthy mouth with an imbalance of bacteria, having too many bad bacteria in the
mouth can drive up systemic issues cardiovascular disease, arthritis. Really interesting study just came out looking at the correlation between arthritis and periodontal disease. So this is a reason why taking the greens achex, taking one scoop of the greens achex, not only is this a wonderful way to get the antioxidants, the vitamins, and the minerals that may be lacking from your diet because perhaps you don't take in the one to two cups of fruits per day or the two
to three cups of vegetables per day. So it's a wonderful way for us to cover that gap. But it's also a really nice way for us to get the exposure to good, healthy bacteria into our mouth. So this is a excellent choice. We know that the greens containing the chlrella and the spiralina, those powerful LGA based nutrients, do a wonderful job at targeting heavy metals that we're exposed to, things like cadmium and arsenic, which we should always have a concern with, and these exist in the soil.
So this is how exposure happens. You know, in our environment, we have a lot of places where we can have a greater likelihood of kind of stumbling into some of these things such as heavy metals and different air pollutants and pesticides that are sprayed on foods. So we have to do better when it comes to how we approach each day the foods that we are choosing to eat, and of course how we then assist our body in
removing those exposures to those different toxins. So the greens Chex is always our within the Invite Health product line as being this very comprehensive way to support daily cellular detoxication. We should care about our cells because our cells each serve a particular function for us. So we shouldn't ignore our cells and say, well, they'll figure it out on
their own. They don't. We know this. So what happens is they do their best, they muddle through until they can no longer muddle through, and then they start to lose function. Once they sell loses function, it's no longer doing what it is meant or designed to do, so then it becomes, in a sense, useless to us. If we have a whole ton of useless cells, that's going to start to affect how we feel every day. And
these effects can show up in many different ways. It can show up as being tired, feeling fatigued, feeling like you have problems with your memory, feeling achy. These are all indications of cellular dysfunction. So if we take a scoop of the greens HX, which has that forty fruit and vegetable extracts, it has that powerful probiotic, it has these wonderful herbs in it to help ease inflammation and support the way in which our body detoxifies each and
every single day. Then that's a really great thing for us to be doing. And you know, I look at all of these studies, you know, every single day, I'm reading through these different studies, and it's alarming. You know, when you see a study, Oh, you know the pfas forever chemicals, we're seeing how it's affecting the brain. You know, the chronic exposure to this is affecting we'd see you know, heavy metal exposure, cadmium tied to memory issues. How do
we combat these things? You know, when you look at cadmium, just as an example, it's found in the soil, it's found in the air, it's found in water, it's found in food. How do we combat this? The American Academy of Neurology, they looked at this. They're like, Wow, we had no idea that cadmium exposure was this high in this country. But yet we know these things, and we also know that when we're looking at how do we
remove cadmium? How do we get rid of cadmium? This is when we can turn to formulations like the greens HX, Understanding that every day we're exposed to different levels of pollution, we want to give ourselves that fighting chance to be
able to properly remove that. And there was a really fascinating study that was conducted many years ago looking at the impact of chlorilla in particular, which we have chlorilla in the greens AHX, but the action of chlorilla when it comes to targeting different heavy metals in particular cadmium
and lead. And so I think that this is another reason for us to recognize that just like we want to support our microbiome and the importance of supporting the microbiome, we also really want to make sure that we're supporting metabolic detoxification each and every single day, that we're supporting the way in which our liver is processing all of these different toxins and all of these different exposures that
we kind of stumble upon each day. So taking your greens achax is going to give you this energy boost because remember we're getting forty different fruits and vegetables with all the power antioxidants. So it gives you this really good sense of just feeling good. But it's also at the same time helping the body clear itself of all the crud, and we get the exposure to the probiotic which will make its way into the intestines to help

So if we are dealing with any type of oral health issues, we need to address that because it can affect everything. Now, if we are dealing with arthritis, we're dealing with any type of you know, chronic back pain. What can we turn to. Well, we know that there's many different products in the invite health line that can be incredibly helpful.
The Biocurcumen five locks and clearly that's our, you know, number one go to, But we also have the FLEX. I love this formulation. The Flex is a blend the powder, but it's a blend of hydrolyzed partnered up with bromolaine, and that's my go to. That is my fave. I love bromolaine because bromoline is such a powerhouse when it comes to working as an anti inflammatory. I am not an advocate for folks living off of ivuprofen. I just think it's a bad idea. I think it's a habit
that no one should get into. I think if you have chronic pain, we need to figure out why that's happening and how do we resolve it. What actions do we take as far as lifestyle modifications to lessen the amount of inflammation and to start to chase that pain and discomfort away. But the FLEX is a really nice way for us to address joint pain, so acute joint pain, because it has that bromolane right in it. Bromoline is
very widely talked about now. It's been around for forever, but it's now more talked about because you have a lot of plastic surgeons that kind of got on board with it, and they're like, oh, hey, if we give bromoline to our patients before we have surgery, their heel time is significantly increased, they have less swelling after surgery. Yeah, so you have a lot of traditional doctors now who are like this bromolane, there's something to it. We also
know what's wonderful is just a digestive enzyme. But in the setting of the flex, this is a great product. And I get this question, Well, I'm already using collagen HX. Does that mean I stop using collagen HX and I switch to FLEX or do I use both? I encourage you to use both, because the collagen HX that's our you know, number one collagen formulation has that peptand B five thousand of registered trademark form of hydrolyzed collagen. But I like the common nation of the two being used together,
and you can take a scoop of each. That's completely fine. Remember we're always trying to make up lost ground when it comes to to collagen, and every year that we exist on this earth, collagen continues to diminish. So you know,
the more the merrier when it comes to collagen. So the flex achax is such a unique blend because not only do we get the partnering of hydrolyzed collagen to go back in and repair those joint spaces, you're getting that brome lane which is very targeted towards working as an anti inflammatory and lessening the pain within your joints.
But it also contains can droit and sulfate be also known as dermatine sulfate, and it has copper and manganese in this and this is important because when we're looking at the effects of trace elements when it comes to osteoarthritis, we know that manganese is really important and so manganese different than magnesium. But we know that manganese has been studied and shown that if we have manganese in our diet, if we are supplementing with manganese, this can actually help
to relieve osteoarthritis symptoms. It can improve the functionality of the joint itself. And there are many different clinical studies that have been conducted with manganese that really show the way in which the manganese is working to go in and start to auto repair those joint spaces. Same thing
when it comes to copper. So in the Frontiers in Medicine journal back in twenty twenty one, they actually go through and they kind of clip through all of the different trace elements and the clinical research studies done on those trace elements, how they're working to once again enhance the way that the joint spaces and how these nutrients, how these trace elements can actually start to alleviate the pain associated with osteoarthritis. So looking at the flex you say, oh, no,
I get it. Now, I understand why copper is in this. Now I understand why that manganese is in this formulation. We know that copper is incredibly important for cartilage, and if we have any amount, any degree of injury to our cartilage and we have a lack of copper, that's a big problem. So the flex HX definitely is a go to, especially in this setting of an acute injury. Say you're out, you step off the sidewalk, funny, you
feel like you tweaked your knee or your ankle. This is definitely the product that you want to have on board because remember want that brae for that immediate action along with that copper and manganese. So let's a go too. The other thing that's a really wonderful go to, especially during this time of year, because you know, you start to have that shift out of summer into fall. The weather's a little chillier sometimes can affect your mood a
little bit. You think, oh, I just want to stay inside and just put a blanket on myself and watch a movie. And that's okay to do from time to time, but we also don't want to get to the point where we become kind of a couch potato and we're not moving and our energy stores are down. So this is when we turn to the active So active HX is HMB, so that's hydroxymethyl butyrate. HMB is naturally occurring in the human body, and as with many things in the body, if those levels start to go down as
we get older, that's a big problem. So not only do we want to maintain muscle mass as we get older to avoid age related cyclopenia or the loss of muscle mass that's not a good thing. We know that HMB can help to promote healthier muscle mass the strength of the muscles, but we also know it helps to
encourage energy production throughout the body. So if we are feeling a little bit on that kind of just lethargic, one could say, lazy, whatever you want to call it, we start to take that active HX and you will notice in a very rapid time the difference in how you feel. We also know for folks who struggle with maintaining healthy weight that the incorporation of the active HX
will also help to promote healthier body composition. That's key if we're looking at fat versus lean mass, we always want to be able to have more of that lean mass than we do the fat. So looking at the utilization of HMB, we can see how it can support many different activities for us throughout the day. Energy production, supporting the muscle mass, supporting the healthy metabolism when we're
looking at fat. So we talked about how the probiotic weight is working for thermogenesis, and then we partner that with that active HX. This is a really nice way for us to get a much better grip on our metabolism as we are growing older. So the clinical research that's been conducted on HMB is really incredibly in oppressive.
In the journal of Nutrition, Health and Aging. They showed that individuals who were over the age of sixty years old who began to supplement with HMB, which is in active HX, they started to use this and just within twelve weeks they could see a significant improvement in their muscle mass, but also in their strength and their energy levels. And energy always matters at the end of the day. So we have many different products that are on special today.
All of our probiotics are on special. That greens CHX is on special, the flex which should be your go to if you have any type of acute pain in your joints, and the active h acts.
