Columbia Threadneedle: Strong momentum for social bonds

In 2017, portfolio manager Simon Bond of the Threadneedle European Social Bond strategy spoke the prophetic words: it would not surprise me if the social bond market became larger than the green bond market. Bond expects that the sharply increased investor interest in social issues caused by the Corona crisis will be permanent. That also explains the strong momentum for social bonds.
