Hello, and welcome to my intuitive lifestyle success podcast where we explore conscious living to create priceless advantages for your wellness, your business and your life. I'm your host master intuitive coach and energy therapy practitioner, Cathleen Miller, and today is Episode 36. We are discussing finding intuitive balance in ebb and

flow cycles. And this, of course, is April 2021, we are discussing personal balance, personal intuitive balance in your lifestyle and your business, your personal life. So, make sure you keep those questions coming. And thank you so much for your feedback, everyone and new questions and insights on what you'd like to

hear more about. But today, you know, we're gonna focus on this is just something for me, I've been really observing in my own life, but also, you know, just watching the world, like, the more that we are just forced to adapt. And in these ebb and flow cycles, what does that mean, for

us in business? What does that mean for us physically, sometimes, and so I wanted to just kind of dive into these different areas, and how to just be more mindful in your own process, so that you can have a smoother, more seamless flow from from one to the other, there's, there's times with cycles that, you know, can just be very intense, or get discouraging, when actually, you know, there's, it has real purpose to it, there's, there's times where, you know, we have

changed, that we don't quite see where the change is going. And we can feel like things are falling apart when they're actually dismantling, and that's extremely important, you know, if things did not have that destructive, deconstructing periods, we wouldn't have the space or the energy to construct something new. So there are times where, you know, these are important, these, these flows

are important. So I wanted to start really with the the body mind balance, and this is something with just now in the world and still, you know, with everything going on from you know, what is wellness, today, a very interesting personal question a personal, you know, perception for each person and, and being able to find that personal balance of what that means to you, what do you need for that, what, as you shift into different cycles and, and flows and periods of your life,

where you have nutritional changes, where you have energetic changes, there's times where, you know, I'm really surprised how much rest my body is wanting, and then it's really interesting how that will shift, and suddenly, I need extra no rest, and I feel like I'm just in this, you know, period of, of output, and, okay, it's time it's time to, to really create or really be, you know, very focused with productivity. And so those are those different ebb

and flow cycles. And, and really, you know, one is trusting the ebb, let's, let's talk about ebb for a moment. And this is everything from, you know, this, this is where trust is so important, because just like the tie going in and out, it serves a purpose, it keeps everything, all the ecosystem of the ocean, really imbalanced as things come in, they move out.

And so trusting that so this can be might be your personal schedule, that suddenly clears and we as typical control freaks want our schedules to be remain consistent or be the way we think mentally they should be. Or maybe this is your body, you know, maybe you're you're just the energy has shifted, where you're just a lower in, I call a low gear, and there's something going on now sometimes that's your body needing more energy to be addressing something that's

coming into balance. And, and sometimes there is what I call death cycle, where it might be literal death that's happening to someone in your family or someone in your world that you know, and there's a mourning, there's a release, there's a time of quiet a period of, you know, things falling away. And this can be anything from loved ones to the death of a business to the death of a project or an experience or circumstance that's changing death of relationship. A divorce can be a

death experience, too. And so these are part of that ebb cycle of, you know, that is requiring a shifting for sure, sometimes it's a physical release of items or things or, you know, being able to sometimes have to move sometimes have to, you know, be able to change or, or let go of things if if it's sort of a business for, for example, and and so those ebbs are, you know, just a more of an output of energy, that is really a releasing, it's a reevaluation,

it is a period of change. And this is really can take a lot of trust. Because there's times where we are in different phases of, say, business, for example, and then it just seems like, you know, what you're doing, or maybe there's a cycle of sales or a cycle of a project you're working on, and then it begins to shift where, you know, that's completed. And now what do you repeat it? Do you go in a

different direction? And sometimes there's that sort of ebb of quiet, where you're in that creative mode of receiving, okay, what direction is next, if I could create something new? If I could go in a different direction? How can I be aware of, you know, allowing the

awareness of energy? And is it time to act yet, these are super important questions to be able to, you know, really trust when you just don't have that energy lighting up to you know, run out of the gate just yet, or implement something within a project that you're doing. So those are important, really important to trust. Because if the energy is not right, and it's not aligned, all the action

in the world will not matter. If we've all done it, where we're low energy, but then we follow through with a commitment, and then we it really doesn't go well. Because we're in obligation, we're now we're moving off adrenaline, it's just not meant to be that difficult.

And so trusting, when the ebb is there, honoring that, and that might be saying no to a commitment that might be, you know, really being able to honor you know, your schedule, if there's times now and in the past, where I would be, you know, really pushing against, you know, fluctuations and schedule, and now, I've really surrendered to it to where I realized, wow, when there's a period of space, that's really necessary, sometimes we're just personal replenishment,

sometimes it's family needs that come into that space, or it's a balancing and just organizational support for

something. So really trusting, when that ebb when that's kind of coming in or slowing down or seemingly contracting, that knowing that, hey, there's always a wave that's coming back, it's always important to be evaluating F, if you're guided to, and, and knowing that, you know, it's a cycle, it will, there will be something on the other side of it too, so to just stay and clarity of the desire of what the direction

you're wanting to go in. So that you can be anticipating the energy, but also taking the time for that sort of pulse, or that that ebb and quiet period. And then of course, behind that becomes the flow after an up cycle, you know, tie comes in, things flow in, money can flow in, all of a sudden, this can be new workflow, this can be a new relationship, this can be new changes, this can be, you know,

new expansions that come in. And so this becomes important to shift into delegation, being able to really be organized for some people, being able to anticipate the sort of surplus of energy that's needed, you know, if you move, or you have, you know, an expansion or a new launch, I mean, that's an extreme, like, excess energy that's really needed for that.

So on the back of an AED, where you've rested, where you filled your batteries, where you've done this, this is where this is really nice to kind of move into. So optimizing this flow, you know, really being aware of where that's, you know, again, what's needed there for you specifically, because for some of us, this is you know, not getting overwhelmed in the process. This is trusting, you know, allowing supports to come in sometimes we're not so great at letting help in or asking for

help. So sometimes optimizing this flow which thinks, you know, oh flow is so great flow is so good, which it absolutely can be and yet you know, how organized Are you with it? Are you keeping personal balance are you going in To overdrive and totally bypassing the physical, you know, your physical needs or resting or staying balanced or hydrated with it. So that's where, you know, having those supports in place on both sides allows for this more consistent core balance, that is the name

of the game for longevity. And that really takes us to that body mind balance, being able to Intuit on a very regular basis, where your energy is being more internally aligned and aware of what am i needing, from moment to moment, no matter what cycle you're in, and you might be between maybe you're moving out

of an ebb into a new flow. And so there's just that delicate shifting of what is what does that mean today for your rest or for you being able to be nourishing properly, or, or not to be overindulging, you know, there's times where it's, it's an adjustment of, you know, hey, I need to prepare for this launch or for this, you know, surplus of energy that's coming, which means I'm going to make adjustments now, to strengthen myself toward going towards

that. So really being energetically, you know, this is something if I'm ever going to do a retreat, or I'm doing a big women's transformation group, I definitely, both in the nourishment that I'm doing with supplementation and, but also energetically, where I'm really anticipating this high surge of energy to, to be really supportive and to anticipate a group flow, that I'm really an energetic training, almost really in preparation of strengthening and reinforcing myself so that when I get into

that, it's it's very, it's comfortable. It's not all of a sudden, this blast of energy. And that's really where when you begin to anticipate where the energy is more balanced, no matter where you know how high or low things are naturally flowing. And you're just, and you're also okay with those

cycles. More often than not, I see people and I've definitely done it myself, where we're just tough on ourselves that, oh, we shouldn't be super high energy all the time, we should be super excited and go, go, go go go all the time. And if we're not, something's wrong, which is not the case at all, there are moments and again, with that flow of a sense of, I'm going to just relax and allow this to settle, or I'm going to allow all of this changed to begin to

just integrate. And those periods of integration, those periods of quiet, those periods of just open creative space are absolutely crucial to being able to be more aware of just those subtle adjustments along the way, for starters, but also staying flexible, as you keep going as well, because sometimes we have a very rigid, you know,

strategic plan. But then when we begin to kind of move into the project, all of a sudden, our focus changes, what we desire for the outcome, or, hey, I want I really have another idea that I want to begin to implement. So staying flexible within these can also be super crucial for you to just be clear on what's working for you, as as things

begin to change. And what really is balanced because I've had so many clients who've had massive expansion, and then they realize I don't want my business to be this big, or I don't want to keep up with this much, or I didn't realize what this was going to demand of me. And I'm desiring to, you know, scale it back, or to sell it and move into a different venture. So being aware of those desires, which are wonderful, because

that clarity is everything. And yet more often than not people kind of hold themselves in place. I've committed to this, I have to follow through, which Yes, follow through is excellent and important along the way. But also, you know, if you keep following through and then it's not your desire anymore, you will begin to overextend. And that will turn into something that can be unhealthy for you.

So finding those places to just be aware of what that core desire is, so that you can be honoring yourself, you can be really, you know, aware of what's important for you. And, you know, going in the direction of what that is from moment to moment. So if this has been supportive for you, I'd love to be able to connect and work with you.
