Hello, and welcome to my intuitive lifestyle success podcast where we explore empower conscious living choices to create priceless advantages for your wealth, your business and your life. I'm your host master intuitive Coach Cathleen Miller. And today we are on episode 19, where we are going to be discussing a December 2020.

detox. So this is kind of the theme now I've done several podcasts this month that are around, you know, kind of intuitive holiday Survival Guide and, and intuitive eating tips around the holiday. And this is going a little more specific, even though it's along the same lines, just a little more support around this. I've gotten some great feedback from many of you. And just really asking for help with this, like how do we defrag 2020. And just let go, which I am also doing myself,

for sure. But this is such a great time, the energies are so incredibly powerful right now. But we also are in a really interesting time of obviously, as we progressions keep changing with the COVID issues and global health and, you know, what is the new norm, we're moving into what this kind of new norm is, and being able to allow the challenges and whatever area of challenge for you specifically, I know many people went through a lot of physical health challenges or went through COVID

themselves. For other people, it was a complete upheaval in business and, you know, having to adapt having to change I don't think anyone had to, you know, at the minimum adapt, for better or worse with with the changes and everything. And for many others, it was mental emotional, it was just really not easy to quarantine, some did much better than others. So depending on where you are and

what really challenged you. That would be where you want to, you know, get that specific, you know, decluttering detoxification, you know, whether it's a little bit of each, you want to do some physical adjustments, as well as sort of a letting go of the decluttering of home and office, being able to kind of rearrange your space can be incredibly powerful, but also the emotional piece being able to really forgive to let go to get beyond the pettiness of just family and

challenges around that. So again, that would be that question, I would volley back to each of you if you had to pick one area or a little bit of each. If that's not too overwhelming, to be able to ask, okay, where is one area that maybe was really challenging for you that you would like to take a step or several that would help you to really declutter detoxify that, that piece. So for me, you know, something I was guided to do is, I'm a big

fan of intermittent fasting. And I am not saying for you guys to know that it's works for everybody. And definitely you want to check with your regular medical practitioner, make sure it is appropriate for you before changing anything diet or lifestyle. But it can be a very powerful support to really balance the body. And it's something that I began around even though I've done it in the past for many, many years, I kind of really recommitted to it this year, and it's something that was credibly

supportive for me. So that's what I do encourage to to check out. And that's one area but also just simplifying, I found that I really had even a lower tolerance for just nonsense, or, you know, things that I used to put time into that just feel like a waste of time, or they're just not really joyful or

beneficial. So that again, is that mental emotional, is, you know, what you're doing, how you're spending your time where you're putting your energy, is it really still enjoyable for you, is it really still happy and that's been a big vibrational measure for me is if I'm not loving it, and really enjoying it, and really feeling a really strong resonance and flow with it, it's out of there.

And and so that is something that, you know, if you don't make that energetic priority, then a lot of times you're more in reaction to what's going on around you, then really directing energy and and having things the way you want them to. And that's of course, the purpose of this is to be able to identify what's not serving you.

Whether that's how you're running your business, whether that's kind of lifestyle and health, wellness choices, whether that's relational, you know, being able to get clear on that. And sometimes we're we're coping or we're just going along or we're very busy. So we don't always have that, you know, clear awareness of or discernment of like, where those

needs need to be changed. So when you begin to ask these questions and sort of have Evaluate sometimes that helps that to kind of come to the forefront of where where those

priorities are. So that would be, you know, really, number one is figuring out where you need to defrag 2020 the most what area is, or if it is, like I said before, all of them being able to ask what's the, what's the priority of focus here that would help you to kind of let go free up space, it's kind of like when you defrag your computer, so you have more space to really move into 2021 and really hit the ground running with that.

And then two is really it's offsetting the holiday stress, I know, you know, even if you just are most are staying home, there's not a lot of full travels, not in full swing just yet. Or we have locked downs that are happening in many

places. So depending on all of that, again, being able to ask, okay, how do we just again, keep simplifying, and where where does energy need to go, that is going to help support being present for the holiday and being able to get really clear awareness on what energetic priorities are, you know, very, I know, so many people and even clients of mine, from Thanksgiving just said, Gosh, you know, we just did it.

So simply, this year, we just really didn't do the big grand, you know, what we normally do for travel or for, you know, the big spread that we do, we just did it really much more low key

much simpler. And you know, if there's more ease to it, that's definitely the direction to go in terms of really asking, you know, where, where is the, and in detoxifying to, if you are, like I said before, with either doing some something as simple as just adding fresh, warm lemon water, within an hour of waking up, or an apple cider vinegar shot, if you don't have an allergy or an issue with that, being able to switch out to kind of a smoothie for one meal, that's a really easy way,

especially for busy schedules, making a big batch and then having like, you know, several days in a row where you're not having to make it over and over.

So doing those short, you know, shortcuts to be able to have really healthy on hand choices can help to support, you know, if you're just your goal is just before noon each day, you're really having as healthy as possible fruits and vegetables before noon, and then you know, having a healthy lunch and dinner for you, that can still for many of you create a healthy, appropriate detox for

you. And so that's something that can really, really, again, offset that holiday stress, help you to be more prepared for whatever your plans are. And, you know, being able to offset I just traveled myself this past week. And, and it was actually really pretty manageable. I was I was really impressed with Southwest Airlines did a great job, I was happy, you know, it really felt very

comfortable everywhere. So it is encouraging, it's super encouraging that, you know, it is possible to find balance and have ease with that without, you know, white knuckle stress. And it doesn't have to be that way. So, so that's two and then three is, you know, really, using this time, I know many people take off, hopefully, you're going to be able to take some time off

around the end of the year. And this is just super important to just let things settle as you're really clarifying where you're going, having that downtime to prepare to really set sights on

where you're going. And, and again, this still is really relevant with the detox because as you start to make plans for your family or your business or personal goals that you're aspiring to create a loft and times you that awareness of Okay, what's in the way What does need to be to toxified now, that will you know, free things up for me to get help with that or sometimes it is the awareness of support in that way, you know, for you definitely in my business with aspects that are

growing and everything really realizing Wow, needing to kind of bring in supports in certain areas is going to really be worthwhile investment. So what is that for you? Is that in your business? Is that family support for you to be freed up for more balance? Is that personal stress you're dealing with because of COVID circumstances that you're needing more support to offset so asking what those are specifically for you and but being aware of? Where are the areas that I could be letting go

from? Is this just sort of personal grievances with you know, a lot of people going through a lot of different relationships, stress I've seen this in my own life too, with, you know, I just am aware of some people that I know that just are not coping well with this, I don't take it personally. And yet, it's something that, you know, it still can be a stress to have that awareness. So doing your best to find your center be really prioritizing your own

intuitive lifestyle balance. And then from there, managing your energy as best as you can, as you go into to, you know, each each area of your life. So that's something that, you know, really, I know, some people kind of look at me funny when I say I detox in December, but I really do love in the month of December, because it just allows this really deeper reflection of what really went well, that you want to expand on in the next

year. But also, you know, life happens, we have incredible challenges and changes and transformations that are they're always occurring. So it really gives you that space to be able to figure out, okay, when you get out of just your normal routine of where energy is going, and you can just ask to be aware of Okay, what could be released or is ready to kind of you know, it's clunky. Now it's not, it's not serving the way it

used to. And that can all of a sudden, it might be clutter in the home, it might be a system that you're using, or for me sometimes like some outmoded apps or some outmoded old folders, I went through all my Gmail folders and just clutter clinically going to totally clear all that out. And then all of a sudden, you feel this wonderful kind of refresh of energy. So those are ones that can, you know, really, it does, it gives you this mental kind of refresh and helps you to focus

on what you're doing next. You know, I just flew back yesterday. So even today, into the office, I was a little bit like, okay, which way is up, I have all this stuff happening at the home. And, you know, people have to get back to all these

different things. And all of a sudden, it was just said, Wait a minute, no, we're still on the detox, where Where's energetic priority, let me just sort of get my center here, you know, and then after meditation with that, it was just oh, okay, these are, these are the pillars, everything else is going to get done. And this really is in a release mode because of the intention. So I

can relax with this. And just be an allowance of knowing that I am flowing with the energy, that is a wonderful ebb right now for all of us. So just relaxing with it, and asking to be aware of Okay, what's that next piece that would really serve you. So that's something that really can be helpful. And, and not to get too. You know, because we are busy, we have holiday stuff going on. So this can be as simple as one thing, guys, one release, one area you want to focus on, and you can still get

tremendous benefit from this.
