Hello, everyone, and welcome to the first intuitive lifestyle success podcast and I'm your host, Cathleen Miller. I'm a master intuitive energy therapy practitioner, and intuitive business and life and wellness coach. And I am beginning to start these different wellness topic podcasts that are going to be covering definitely what you're going to send some. And I will be adding lots of topics, lots of personal requests there. But you know, my passion is working with the intuitive body mind connection and helping people to understand the power that that gives you in your life so that your business can be way more productive, you're way better with your time management, both personally and professionally. But also for just really managing your wellness, your, all the things that are bombarding us within a day of trying to get our

attention and distractions. And so today's episode, I want to start with just one of the most important things which is self love. And to me self love is self care. So they're kind of one in the same. And I think it's a great place to start. And so I want to really address the top three blocks, or at least three main blocks that I see constantly, that are really just affecting esteem or affecting just the ability to really love yourself and stay confident. And, and so let's just dive

right in. And the first one really being letting expectations of others lead you letting expectations lead. So what does that mean? That is your parent, letting your kids I know, I've definitely done this where the kids agenda, your boss's agenda, the work schedule, the community schedule, everything you're volunteering coordinator. And it's like I see this constantly

with my clients. And in my coaching practice where people are just feeling like they're constantly in this just revolving flow of what other people are expecting them. And so being able to really find a way to learn how to, of course entertain where it feels good and where it feels like a

contribution to you. But learning how to prioritize, you know that your expectation is first and foremost, that you're cared for that you have the energy that you need, which again, is that self care, and that's different for everybody, some people for me, I work out seven days a week, and I do a lot of self care stuff to just be as high energy and as high performance as I possibly can. I just really love excellence I love really being at a high level. And but that's not

everybody's even interest. And so for some people, it's, you know, taking a nap once a week, or getting a bubble bath in somewhere. And so you've got to kind of define what that is for you. But prioritizing how to, you know, have that expectation that you're able to, you know, create that time and create that space for yourself. And then honoring yourself with follow through is equally equally important. Okay, so number two

is time management. To and again, this is kind of in tandem with one is really managing your schedule, a lot of people their schedules are managing them they are and I see this, especially in some of my higher entrepreneur clients who are running, you know, huge businesses, huge brands that are just, you know, they can work 24 seven all the time, and and they're really looking to learn how to manage their time better. And so this is something for

each of us. Again, it's an individual consideration, but being able to say how can I look at my daily, you know, everything I have to do my deadlines for today was expected. But within that find time for really including self care somewhere. So for me, sometimes it's just, okay, I'm going to have, you know, an extra meditation today, or I'm going to really have time to just kind of free flow is what I call it. And it's just space where you're not so mentally engaged, because a lot of my

work is so many details. Or if I am in coaching clients, it's tons of information coming through for them. So for me having that space, of not a lot of, you know, just time that is more relaxed and flowing in a lower gear really helps with that overall balance. And so

managing your time. Also, another great tip is writing yourself, you're into your calendar, some people are like, Oh, well, if I can get an app, if I can find time to schedule a massage or something, you know, hopefully I'll do that this week. But no, get it in your calendar. Have it regularly. That's another reason. You know, some of my memberships where I work with clients monthly and I

hear this all the time. They're like I'm so glad I'm just on the books, or refers over here because I would just forget or I'm just so busy with so many other things. It's nice Have that organized and for me, I have a massage six books six months out, I have certain therapy or my acupuncture, sometimes every two or three weeks, and it's just booked out for months in advance. And that lets it just be done, that it's on my calendar I show up. So really honor yourself in six

month blocks. And of course, if that adjusts and changes, and you feel like my body needs more, my body needs less, of course, you're gonna honor that. But beginning to really, you know, put that into your time schedule is something you're going to honor. And then the third biggest block that I see is this self talk, it's this inner. And a lot of times we don't even say it out loud, it's just those inner I'm not doing enough, this isn't right, I'd have a blah, I don't like this.

And so it's really beginning to support yourself and just first being aware of the negative self talk, because sometimes it's been there so long, you don't even realize it's so much. Um, but also if you know, having maybe a buddy that's helping you be accountable with that learning how to, you know, a lot of people have been doing self development, that is beginning to have a more positive focus.

Sometimes, you know, coaching or different programs can help for this to strengthen to but but just deciding within yourself, hey, I'm gonna keep notes and really set my intention in the day. And then at the end of the day, really check in like, how did I do? Did I maybe do great morning and then mark the afternoon, or maybe I didn't even make it through, you know, getting the kids out the door

and kind of blew my lid. And so what is that for you and being able to just say, Okay, what are just several steps every day, where my inner story, my inner dialogue, my inner affirmations are just more positive. And even if there's something I don't like about my body, my life, my business, I'm in a place of just positive possibility to make that better. And just that is going to begin to shift that for you. So I hope this has been helpful for you, my these podcasts are going to be very

So that again, you're able to be able to tune in because when you can be more intuitive about, you know, where maybe those expectations are kind of running you or your schedule or Time management is running you or being more aware of the verbiage that you're saying, because anywhere there's a negative comment, your body's going to have also a not great

response to that. So part of that body mind connection is being able to first identify it, and then moving to steps to really shift it to change it to be more aware of choices you didn't realize you have about that. And then that over time begins is a really powerful transformation to improve every area of your life. So I hope this has been helpful.
