Komal Shah is an educational consultant on a mission to transform the world through conscious education. After Komal spent five years in the Teach For America program as a middle school educator, she was left wanting more, which is why she attended USC Marshall School of Business and received her MBA. Today she leverages her passion for children to shift outdated educational paradigms and transform the educational system for the betterment of all children. She recently authored a book “Raise Your Hand” a book which focuses on cultivating consciousness within the modern day education system.

In this episode I talk to Komal about her journey as an educator to where she is now, the rigidness of education system and how can a teacher, parent or even an elder sibling can create a more conscious learning environment for students.
