Debu Tripathy, MD is a professor of medicine and chair, department of breast medical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His clinical research focuses on the evaluation and development of new therapies in breast cancer, specifically growth factor receptor pathway targeting and biomarkers that predict sensitivity and resistance. He is a past-president of the Society for Integrative Oncology. In this podcast, we discuss complexities in integrative oncology research, how research can advance the use of integrative oncology and its perception, how to find mentorship and the importance of translating research into clinical practice.
