Heidi Beierle is an artist, writer and adventurer. Her new book "Heidi Across America: One Woman's Journey on a Bicycle Across the Heartland" invites us to join on her amazing adventure: a 3000-mile bike trek across our vast country. This might not be our immediate idea of what we can or want to do, but Heidi makes clear this was her journey, and within her hopefulness may we find our personal explorations. Possibly on a bike, and in our own communities or venturing further. The idea is to see our connections to and with each other, while also learning more about our own self.
