Annette Smiley, Director of Women and Children's Shelter at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission, shares stories and information about the various services her organization provides to our unhoused neighbors. 1300 Easter baskets are being given to the neighbors, as part of an invitation to the Mission's Easter celebration. Annette tells of the daily meals served to special events and programs that offer hope to men, women and families. Annette's messages come with a strong authenticity as she shares her personal experience, the kind that speaks volumes. And Annette understands so much of the pain that exists, and that there is redemption and a good and fulfilling life to be lived.
