Episode description

Judith Hightower is a retired Seattle Municipal Court Judge having served for 24 years. Her journey to the bench is both winding and interesting and is a lot of the reason for the compassionate heart she had for the people, the human beings who appeared before her in court. In sharing her story, she invites us to look at our motivations, our role in life. And we discuss the 2021 movie Don't Look Up, which has too many parallels to our life.

The YWCA April 25 event Judy mentions during this program is entitled "Until Justice Just Is: Immigration Myth vs Fact." This is an online event, scheduled for 10:30am.
