Episode description

Lucy Ashe is an English and Drama teacher based in New York City and is also an author whose newest historical novel is "The Sleeping Beauties." Before moving onto teaching, Lucy trained at the Royal Ballet School in London, and the rigors of that training factor largely in her writing. Lucy wonderfully weaves the story of ballet and the arts during WWII, with variations of the Sleeping Beauty fairytale. The interweaving of 3 generations of women is a compelling story within Lucy's manuscript.
