Zane Waddell, from South Africa, is the reigning World Champion in the Men's 50 Backstroke. COVID-19 messed up his last opportunity to break 20 seconds in the 50 SCY Backstroke. Zane, still training at the University of Alabama, is now preparing for Tokyo 2021 and the 2nd season of the ISL as a member of the LA Current.
