Karina has been playing bass with Marco Benevento's band in recent years, but is poised to strike out under her own name, with a highly anticipated debut album on the way. She breaks down the vision and process behind her new music, as well as the story behind her musical journey that got her to where she is now. Karina also takes us inside her experience jamming with Phish on stage at MSG leading up to one of their legendary NYE shows. Not many people have gotten to do that! At the top of the episode, Chris recaps the Stringdusters recent trip to the Grammys, where they were nominated for the third time, and where Mike Tyson sat right behind the band for the televised broadcast.
