Levine & Haugh: Ryan Dempster interview (Hour 1)

Bruce Levine and David Haugh opened their show by reacting to the White Sox's 12-8 win against the Angels on Friday night and by raving about designated hitter Yermin Mercedes going 5-for-5 in his first career MLB start. Marquee Sports Network analyst Ryan Dempster then joined the show to discuss Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant's past struggles, right-hander Jake Arrieta's return to the organization and the team's outlook for 2021. Later, the guys previewed Arrieta's return to the mound for the Cubs, whom he re-signed with on a one-year deal in the offseason. Arrieta will get the ball against the Pirates on Saturday afternoon.
