Deborah Ward leads the company’s Nationwide operations and oversees the ongoing expansion efforts into emerging markets.  As an executive and thought leader promoting diversity initiatives, she is responsible for Televergence’s 30+ year legacy of unparalleled customer service, integrity, and transparency in the telecommunications world. The performance of Televergence is supported by an average customer retention rate that exceeds 15 years.

Early in Deb’s career she saw an opportunity she just couldn’t pass up when the AT&T monopoly was disbanded. She was one of the very first women to open a telecommunications company. Faced with extreme trials and with pure grit, Deb’s determination pushed through head on earning her the right to be a fierce competitor in a heavily male dominated industry. 

A career long mission of Deb’s and one of the company’s core values is an allegiance to women in business and technology.  She continues to apply her personal philosophy of “Paying It Forward” by dedicating substantial resources to various telecom-related organizations. She was the first Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of INCOMPAS for 5+ years (the industry’s largest lobbying association, formerly known as Comptel) President-Elect and Board Member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO); Board Member of Women’s Business Enterprise Council South (WBE South).

What does an inspiration trailblazer like Deb do during her free time? Deb can be found at Twin Oaks Guest Ranch, the second business she owns with her husband, Cowboy. Twin Oaks Guest Ranch is located just outside of Nashville. This is a vision that was created to share with everyone and has become the perfect vacation spot for hundreds of returning guests each year.  Deb & Cowboy truly pour their heart and soul into this dream of sharing the ranch life with valued guests. It is definitely a “home away from home” where all can feel welcome!
