5: Create for You

Something I personally struggle with is allowing myself to enjoy creating art or expressing myself creatively because I think too hard about whether or not the people I share it with will approve of it. However, I have recently begun to realize that it is no longer Self Expression when my main focus is the pleasure of others. You don’t have to be “good” at something to enjoy the process of creating it. Who is to say what is deemed “good” when it comes to art and self expression? There are no rules. There are no judges.
