Scotties Recap ft. Kerri Einarson

What’s happening around the curling world? The guys discuss the Scotties, particularly team Einarson’s front end (3:30) and how the No Tick rule affected things. Warren talks about how the Scotties and Brier have changed since he played in the 1970s (12:05) and updates us on how their Scotties predictions worked out (13:00) The World Jr’s took place in Germany and you may be surprised by the results of Team Canada on both the Men’s and Women’s sides (14:10). They make their predictions for the Brier (27:30), Kevin tells us the time John Morris got hit by a car and played the Brier with a massive concussion (30:30) and the time he won the Brier with a broken hand from a bar fight!

In Hot Rock Topics, the guys discuss the benefits and issues of the digital ‘hogline handles’ and what we should do moving forward (33:15). In the Mailbag, a listener brings up the lack of interactive activities for kids the Scotties (41:00).

They then chat with 4-time Scotties champion, Kerri Einarson about her recent record-breaking 4-peat (46:30), raising the level of competition at the tournament (61:00), when she realized she could live out her curling dream (62:30) and what she and her team do to keep themselves in top physical and mental condition (63:30). Finally, Kerri calls out warren for doubting her!!!!(66:00).
