Hey. How welcome again to the basic English course, it is already in English part one, Alberto Carranza greets you. On this occasion we will see the use and examples of the basic articles in English, we will identify where to use them and, in addition, some details of the pronunciation. Well, the aricles are those little words that indicate whether the noun of the sentence

refers to something specific or something not specific. In English, we call the first definite article, d because in advance we know what we are talking about and the second we call the article indefinite in its two forms an because,

in effect, we are talking about any noun. Now the structure to refer to something or someone using articles is aricle, the NWN, examples of Movie to Cloud, but what are the rules of the articles let' s see with respect to the definite article let' s use this one is invariable and in Spanish it corresponds to them and they by invariable. It means that it is used, regardless of whether it is speaking of masculine, feminine or neutral

nouns, or whether they are singular or plural. One very important thing to take into account with regard to pronunciation is the sound of the definite article.

Sounds like it' s when he' s followed by a sleeper. On the other hand, if the noun starts with vowel, it sounds like d Let' s see the following examples The Man Do Woman by Fantastic, The Books, The Tables, The Ocean, the elephant As you can see the article d does not change depending on the genre of the noun, i e, feminine or masculine, or whether it is plural or singular, properties that we can certainly not say of the Spanish language. We continue with the indefinite

article. This is only used with singular nouns and has two ways to use A and ANN. These correspond to Spanish one or one. Both have exactly the same meaning, but A is used when the word that follows it begins with consonant, including the aspirated h, and also starts with the vowel u when you are pronounced with the yu sound. Let' s look at some examples A kat a Heart, A House, A University, a Uniform. On the other hand, the an form is used when the word that follows

it begins by vowel or h mute as examples. We have an Animal and Apple, Anartist and Our and Honor Remember we use s A or an in front only of nouns in singular. Below are some translations using the articles described here and using nouns seen in the previous Gasline Gift election, The Love, A Note here, The Sky, The Doctor, A Cloud, The Cope d Internet. With these examples ends the lesson of the articles in English. Do not hesitate to leave a comment in case you have any doubts about what

was seen in this video. I invite you to visit my website for more related English resources. Sign up to keep track of the course and like if the video has helped you until the next one
