What is Classful IP Address? | InfosecTrain

An IPv4 addressing architecture that separates addresses into five categories is known as classful addressing. Prior to classful addressing, the first eight bits of an IP address were used to identify which network a particular host belonged to. This would have resulted in the internet being limited to only 254 networks.
