Hosts discuss HB 1399, which attempts to remove a Sheriff's right to interpret the state and federal Constitutions (what is known as being a "Constitutional Sheriff"), and HB 1531, which censors local government bodies, forces them to "implement and promote" what the state deems to be "evidence-based, appropriate measures to control the spread of communicable diseases", and nullifies any local statute, ordinance, rule, or policy that the state considers to be in violation.
