I was recently on a run and noticed how we tend to make our front door and entrance look beautiful.
Plants, welcome mat, decorations.
Yet we tend to enter our home through a dark garage or the back door.
A metaphor for perhaps how we show up for others before we show up for ourselves. We beautify for others to witness and not for our own hearts and soul.
Perhaps we could start going in the front door every now and then.
