When we react continually the same way with the same emotions it is a defense mechanism for our brain. It simply takes less calories to do what's known. In order to change our emotional state we need to be aware of the fact our brain is simply trying to save calories, and burn a few more to make a different choice until the new choice is the norm.

We can do this through Meditation by becoming more objective with our self and less subjective. Awareness in the present moment allows us to make a new choice, and rewire the brain to a more aligned outcome.

Peace and Love.
