Episode description

This week's episode is a re-edited rerun of a season 3 episode that is still very much relevant today where we explore why Gen Z pursues privacy online. I have added a new intro and shared some tea in the update section, so make sure to listen.

In this episode, Jordyn Christensen and I look at why Gen Z is starting to seek more privacy and anonymity online. We explore the concept of the personal brand from a Gen Z lens, the new dangers youth face online, and several factors that have contributed to this generation choosing to be more private than their Millennial counterparts. We also look at some Gen Z creators who have recently taken a step back from social media (like Emma Chamberlain), and consider both the benefits and the risks of internet users becoming increasingly anonymous.
