Ep 33 – The Problem of Good

If God is omni-everything — and especially omni-good — then how can we explain the existence of evil and suffering in the world? In the philosophy of religion, this is not a new question. It is commonly known as The Problem of Evil. It assumes that the God in question is in fact a benevolent God. But what if God were a malevolent God? Would we then have to explain The Problem of Good? This is the question asked by Sebastian Dick, the author of our second listener essay contribution.
