Episode description

One of the main challenges museums and science centres around the world are facing, is how to maintain attendance numbers and engagement. Younger audiences are clearly more and more difficult to attract, at least by “traditional” exhibits. This is where educational entertainment comes into play. AR is a relatively new technology, however, it has already begun revolutionising the way museums engage, educate [and entertain] their audiences. In today’s episode our CEO Alex, CTO Norbi and CPO Xava talk about how technology can enhance the visitor experience without compromising the historic, cultural and general values these educational institutions work hard to preserve. They talk about INDE's road to understanding AR's role in education, the most exciting projects they have done for educational institutions and the most important things they have learned along the way, and also discuss some of the main challenges regarding the development of AR experiences for education...
