This week there is a loose theme of the importance of good metrics as well as some resolution on the question of when to plan and when to just move fast and try things. Many startups move fast but skip over the planning phase, and many big companies do too much granular planning without enough real world results. Also, FIFO is a good inventory method until your inventory turn is too long at which point safety stock can be a better approach.
