Episode description

Bartholomew, or also known as Nathanael, was described as a man in who there is no duplicity, no guile. Let us ask for simplicity and humility, and never rely merely on appearance or facade. He appears in Michelangelo's famous Sistine chapel from 1534. This great apostle will pray for us today.

Music: Mozart Opera Rinaldo. "Lascia ch'io pianga", played by Bert Alink.

Feast of St. Bartholomew, preached in Ernescliff Centre on August 24, 2021, by Fr. Eric Nicolai
