In Colossians 2:16-23, Paul is reminding the Colossians that Jesus has abolished the law through His death. And because the law with all its ceremonies and rituals has been abolished, therefore, they should not follow teachings that bring them back into bondage to it. This is true for you today: you are complete in Christ and you have new life in Him. Don't allow anyone to turn you to anything else!
