Into the Swamp we go as AU’s newest Eco Explorers 🦟

Join us for an exciting episode as host Raysean Ricks heads to Phinizy Swamp Nature Park! 🌿 In this special episode, they explore Augusta University’s environmental sciences with Brandon Cromer, PhD, assistant professor for Ecology, and Emma Herndon, an Biology major. They also meet with Kim Dillard, Park and Volunteer director, and Alicia Sweat, Executive Director and COO, to learn about Phinizy’s vital role in conservation and CSRA. Finally, they roll up our sleeves and participate in the Eco Explorers program, becoming citizen scientists for a day! Watch as they examine micro-invertebrates, tour research facilities, and discover how Phinizy Swamp inspires both education and environmental stewardship.
