Kay Jelinek is a mixed-media abstract artist based in Sheboygan who loves thinking and observing deeply and recombining everything into spontaneous art. She creates colorful artwork in the darkness of night, starting with a blank surface and no clear outcome in her mind. Jelinek’s work responds to many deeply imbedded images from close observation of nature, fractals, a love of music, poetry & philosophy as well as the work of other artists who create surprising art reflecting their unique individuality.
