You’re Speaking My Language

We are in week 3 of our series “My People” where we have been looking at what it means to be the people of God, the church. Now as God’s people how do we shine like stars in the sky, how do we show forth the praises of the one who has called us out of darkness as 1 Peter says? Primarily we are to be divine image bearers in the earth today, as kings, priests, and prophets. We have already talked about being “young kings who do unpopular things” through serving. Last week we talked about being “young priests who mediate the presence of God to the world around us.” Today I want to talk about being “young prophets.”
