What Does It Mean To Abide In Christ?

Jesus is the true vine who imparts life to His people! What is our part? As we ABIDE in Him, we will be aligned with Him resulting in a life that trusts His ways and lives obediently. As we OBEY His words, we will find JOY when we ABIDE in His love. The branch only bears fruit when grafted into the vine. We are not to be distracted or concerned with the results, those are up to God. Our sole purpose is to stay connected to Jesus and trust the outcome to Him. We don’t compare or become discontent by shifting our eyes off of Jesus, we are to remain steadfastly focused on Him. Our aim and purpose for living are to worship God and bring glory to Him.
