The Word Became Flesh

Today we begin a new sermon series that joins us with our churches in our Every Nation Churches spiritual family all over the world. The word abide means to remain or stay. Sometimes the boldest and most courageous thing we can do as God’s people is remain and stay. Jesus’ ministry was marked by those who remained and those who left. First and foremost to remain stable or fixed in the love of God, to continually receive, believe, and trust that Jesus is all we need for salvation and holiness. But abide also carries the implication to remain, stay in His Word and His Ways. Two questions we hope you can answer today as we dig into God’s Word, is first and foremost do you know Jesus, if so how deeply, and secondly how are you making Him known? Maybe better put, what do people know about Jesus as a result of knowing you?
