My Passionate People

We are in the final week of our series “My People” where we have been looking at who we are supposed to be, and what we are supposed to do in the earth today as God’s people. If we are God’s people then we are spiritual family, therefore, You are my people, because we are God’s people. So as God’s people we are first and foremost divine image bearers. We are supposed to be shining lights in the darkness as Philippians 2:15 states, and we are to show forth the praises of the one who called us out of darkness as 1 Peter 2:9 says. There is both a title and a task, or an identity and a duty. Young Kings doing unpopular things in our world. Young Priests mediating God’s presence to the world. Young Prophets embodying God’s truth to the world. One church (body, family, people) living impossible practical lives together.
