Judgement

Thus far in our series on the Apostles’ Creed we have unpacked each section of the creed in order to help us better understand what we believe and why we believe it. Up to this point the creed has been in the past tense. It also closes out the part of the creed dealing with the person and work of Jesus. We looked at Jesus past ministry, birth, crucifixion, death and burial resurrection and ascensions and last week we covered His present ministry (interceding for you and me right now because He lives to do so). So now we cover His future ministry, in the future tense of the Creed, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
