Free Indeed

Freedom. It is something we all desire and want. As a matter of fact, when it comes to freedom there are only two descriptors that really matter in this life, people who are free and people who are enslaved. God created us to experience and live in freedom. Practically speaking, history tells us that all of human life revolves around either having freedom or having it forcibly taken away. But did you know you could be free and more enslaved than an enslaved person? The only thing worse than being enslaved, is being enslaved and thinking you are free. Sadly this is the norm and happens all the time spiritually speaking because freedom is not just physical, from an eternally more important perspective freedom is spiritual. This is week 4 of our series in which our Every Nation churches all over the world are working through the Book of John simultaneously. The theme is “Abide,” as we continue to look at what it means to abide, or remain in Christ.
