Julie Andersen is the Global CEO of Plastic Oceans International and a lifelong public health advocate focused on the communication of science and disruption of societal barriers to protect human health and the environment from the negative effects of industrial development.   Plastic Oceans International is a US based non-profit organization whose goal is to end plastic pollution and to foster sustainable communities worldwide.
