With Paul, our confidence and joy in the gospel must never be marginalized by trials. We find out in verses 12-18 of Philippians that Paul's suffering produced a spread of the gospel that took over he's prison cell mates and guards.Through this we can learn that our situations do not hinder the gospel from spreading no matter how bad they seem.
