Episode description

Divorce is a painful and complex end to a relationship, but it can be incredibly challenging if your immigration status is in the middle of it. When you obtain a green card through marriage, it might be a 2-year conditional green card, and in order to lift the conditions after two years, you need to prove that you and your partner are still married (Form I-751). Therefore, divorce, when you hold a conditional green card, can cause issues BUT IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. If your relationship is not going how it should, this is the episode for you.
